Miss Weddings (Amber), was amazing. She was very efficient and communicative. The visit to explore options and what we wanted in the way of decorations for our wedding, just flowed. Amber already had colours picked out that we had requested and a table set, ready to go for all the changes we made. On the day, the reception looked beautiful with all the different coloured candles, table cloths, sashes, etc. I cannot recommend Miss Weddings enough!

We had our wedding at Tangalooma Island Resort, and whilst our ceremony and reception were beautifully presented, it wasn't in the end what we completely discussed and it was surprisingly underwhelming to work with Mel from Miss Weddings.

- very poor communication and what seemed like no care in the lead up to the wedding, constantly having to chase a response through Tangalooma head office, including one meet up which she was preoccupied and seemed too busy to take proper notes.
- not replying to emails, even our last one the week before the wedding still enquiring to confirm details which we still have never received a response.
- packing the ceremony up super quickly to make the ferry home, even though we paid for her to stay the night on the island at her request, then not letting anyone know, which left everyone feeling very uncomfortable (it took us to enquire about it with head office after for which they have now given us a refund). We wouldn't have received this refund if we didn't notice.
- One of her last correspondence seemed quite defensive when we were asking to confirm details for the reception and hadn't heard back.

My wife and I spoke during this process and we agreed at the beginning that if we had a choice to choose another stylist we would have given the poor communication at the beginning. However, as we booked with Tangalooma, Miss Weddings is their only stylist so you don't have a choice. We hope that they review this for other couples in the future.

If Mel had reached out to us until this point, the review might be different, as we are not ones to give negative reviews. After a year since booking our wedding with Tangalooma and struggling with communication with Miss Weddings, we were just over chasing her...

Absolutely amazing! Mel made the whole experience so easy for us with her exceptional customer service skills and dedication - planning our wedding was a dream come true nothing was too much effort. The moment we walked into our reception our jaws hit the ground, we had so many comments from our guests. I would definitely recommend Miss Weddings.

We used Mel for our wedding at the Lighthouse on July 22nd this year. I knew when I met Mel that she would deliver exactly what I wanted. What we couldn't predict was that that day was going to deliver a storm warning and gale force winds. Mel went above and beyond to ensure that we still had the wedding of our dreams. What she delivered would have been incredible under normal conditions, but given the circumstances on the day, she exceeded every expectation I had. The ceremony and reception were both stunning and I am so grateful that Mel and the team at Miss Weddings just took it upon themselves to deliver everything I'd ever dreamed of. Thank you, Mel.
