Typical regional lodge. This is for the last minutes bookings hence no complaints as we weren't expecting much. Five star for the location as we get to order something even late as kids tend to wake up and ask for something on those trips.

We came for dinner on Saturday 9th March. We'd tried book in to other eating places around the area, and none could accommodate. Called at 5.30 to get a table for 2, and they said they could fit us in. We arrived at 6pm, table was ready.
My partner ordered the mixed grill, which was large, and the "best" he's ever had. Food was hot, staff were great, well worth the visit, and will be back again

We popped down for dinner tonight and was met with a very helpful member of staff Helen who pointed us in the right direction for the restaurant. Another member of staff gave us a table and the whole place filled up quickly. I had a seafood platter which was really lovely. My husband had pasta and was very impressed with it. That impressed we have booked for tomorrow night .

Despite booking a “super deluxe” room, we could not a get a room with an ensuite. It was a single room with a double bed. Fortunately just staying for one night. Any longer would have gone elsewhere

The location is really good, there is a bakery and a great cafe , serving breakfast from 8 a.m. with an amazing choice of meals. Besides that, there is a Thirsty Camel shop on the corner. On the first floor of the Minlaton Hotel you can find a bar . The staff are polite and friendly. Unfortunately, our rooms were quite cramped and without private bathrooms, so check it in advance. We booked two last rooms and didn't pay attention to bathrooms. But they offer two bathrooms for gentlemen and ladies, and they are clean. Our rooms were also tiny, but had a fridge and a kettle, so it was enough for sleeping.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Very comfortable and tidy lunch room. Meal was prepared quickly and delivered to the table by a friendly waitress. Chicken schnitzel was a good size, the gravy was nice thick and tasty. Chips were hot and crisp. The complimentary garlic bread was an unexpected addition to a good meal.
