Decent Chinese massage. Better than some of the ones I’ve gotten in Shanghai. Would’ve been an easy 5 star, but one of the receptionists is weirdly rude and passive aggressive for no reason to almost everyone. I heard he’s related to the owner. Honestly someone like him is unfit for customer service.

Oh my god. The most AMAZING place to get your massage. I always see LAN, who knows exactly what she’s doing. She can give a light massage or a firmer one, whichever is best for you. She is the only person I go to now for my massage. The other staff there are always friendly too, from the lovely man who takes the bookings over the phone, to the man at reception & the other massage staff, you can’t go wrong going to Ming’s massage at Churchill Centre.

Two 40 minute massages were booked with 30 minute foot ion cleanses. We were told to come back in 10 minutes then we couldn't have our massages at the same time because there weren't enough masseurs/masseuses. The masseuse who massaged me had very strong hand pressure. I especially felt it on my calf muscles.I tolerated the pain because I thought it must be doing my body good. I thought it must have because my neck and shoulders did feel better afterwards. (I had a general neck stiffness which I think many people experience).

Edit: But a few days later my neck was extremely achy, so much that it affected my sleep. I had never experienced so much neck pain in my life before. I tolerated it for two weeks then called Ming Massage and spoke to Benny about it. I presumed he was the manager or owner because he said I could come back that day and I will receive a free neck massage for 5 to 10 minutes and a medicine will be rubbed into my skin. But when I returned there, the woman at reception wanted to charge me $30! I was shocked so had to get her to speak to Benny on the phone to confirm it. After that the same masseuse I had two weeks ago massaged my neck whilst I was sitting on a chair. She used gentler pressure this time. Eventually the pain in my neck reduced so I think a nerve may have been pinched during the first massage.

Btw, $5 extra per massage was charged to massage with oil. I had asked if I could bring my own oil so the extra $5 didn't have to be paid but I was told no because the extra charge is to massage with oil, not just for using the oil. That didn't make sense to me, and especially when a very small amount of oil was used, to the point of noticing some friction after the oil had been absorbed into my skin.
