The Millstream Homestead is not only a place of historical significance but also a hub of information for visitors. With a well-stocked gift shop and knowledgeable staff, it's the perfect place to learn about the area's unique ecosystem and wildlife. The wetland walk and stream, though currently closed, offer a chance to explore the natural beauty of the region. The homestead itself is a beautiful example of early 20th-century architecture, and the surrounding campground provides a peaceful place to stay the night.

One visitor noted, 'A short stop. Wanted to go and discover the wetland walk or stream but it’s been closed. Had a trail around it but that’s about it. Went to see the homestead, pretty run down but cool artefacts. Not much else in there though. Heaps of campground next to it. Toilets are available.' This highlights the importance of preserving the homestead and its surrounding areas for future generations to enjoy.

Whether you're a history buff, a nature lover, or simply passing through the area, the Millstream Homestead is definitely worth a visit. With its rich history, stunning surroundings, and wealth of information, it's a true gem of the Pilbara region.

Amazing that this museum is free! We loved it so much we wished we had spent longer in the park, you could easily have a lovely picnic in the cool of the Homestead. 100% recommended. There were lots of Sturt Desert Peas and Mula Mula flowers by August 15, it was a great location for wildflowers.

The homestead itself is okay, but that is all there is. The only walk (Wetlands) is closed. The campground looked okay, certainly better than Stargazers. It's as though the first nations people don't really want visitors. The road in is terrible. I realise it's the outback but a grade occasionly might help.

It was quite disappointing to find that the main attraction here was closed.

It has been closed for moths, maybe even more, but no mention on the WA parks website or booking system.

Wonderful Millstream Homestead is used as the information centre. This is unmanned but provides plenty of information in regards the the National Park and its surroundings. A Ranger is located close by. A true oasis and worth having a look at what the area has to offer.
