What a great hotel! From the moment we walked in, the staff were amazing. Friendly and helpful goes a long way. The rooms were clean, comfy and well equipped. The front desk coffee and sandwich bar was a nice, welcome touch. Buffet breakfast was stock standard offering, however, the chef did an outstanding job as the food was always hot, tasty, fresh, topped up, arranged thoughtfully and each station was neat and tidy. Well done! Highly recommend this place if you have business around the Macquarie University area.

My Dad is in the hospital right now so our stay was not particularly a happy one.
In saying that, the Mercure was great! Excellent service, friendly staff, safe accommodation. The bed i slept in was Amazing! I thought my bed at home was great but I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud! Mum felt the same apart from having a bit of trouble getting into it (some short legs in my family!)
Breakfast was included in our stay. WOW, it was awesome. There was a bit of everything and one of the cooks Chris? I think, was so friendly and warm and accommodating to any needs. Thank you!
The chai lattes were great, I had several of them!
We were close to the hospital which was our main purpose being there. Mum can't walk too far but she managed that so I was very happy.
Thank you again everyone who served us. I recommend the Mercure, 10/10 😊

I have stayed at the Macquarie Mercure hotel on 5 separate occasions and each time the customer service has been excellent.||Check-in are quick and efficient. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated though minimal.||The breakfasts are great and the team make very good coffee, a must for my morning routine.||Additionally, it’s very convenient for patients who may be receiving treatment or visiting loved ones at Macquarie University Hospital. It’s so close it could be connected by a sky bridge.

The good - the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. I found the self check-in and check-out very efficient. Unfortunately I still had to queue up to get my car parking registered, it would have been good if I could have done that with the check-in. I loved the ability to cast from my phone to the room’s TV. The beds were comfortable.
The not-so-good - we had to rearrange the room, moving the beds and sofa, to be able to access the power points. My mum had to plug in her CPAP machine and I like to have my phone by my bed, as I’m sure most people do. The bathroom is quite dated including a shower head that flopped down while I was showering and bopped me on the head. Also very little room to put clean clothes while showering.
But overall a very pleasant stay, very convenient location, and I would happily stay again.

The entire experience was seamless with both staff, and service being excellent. We were allocated the exact room requested and from there everything we needed was on hand. We love the location being so handy for the Mall and Metro. To the staff Kate, Hao, Chris, Greg, Tom, Kane, Nina, Jeremelin, Phil & Jack thank you for making our stay another memorable occasion.

Very friendly staff. Not that far from the station, but if you're doing something to get Macquarie University , it's a great place. The hotel is a little old and the rooms are a little bit on the smaller side, but it's okay.Value for money and the service is very great

Amazing service by Jermie every time. Breakfast buffet always enjoyable, the head chef there is always helpful and extremely friendly. We come here regularly. Highly recommend!

The customer service at this hotel was exceptional, starting with Selina at front desk who assisted with check in issue and to the last day of stay with offers of complimentary coffee by the general manager. Rooms very clean and bed was comfortable. Amazing how a little extra customer service goes a long way. Will definitely stay here again.
