Sure the hotel is old and not the most brand new one but it has all the facilities you need inside the room. Some of which I cannot find in some hotels like microwave. We went here for overnight to attend the Winery Run at Wandin Estate and it was really good. Easy to connect Netlflix as well. The concierge and manager were both amazing. We will definitely go back. 🙂

Stayed here with my husband, it’s been a long time since we have stayed is a building like this one’s the inside has been renovated nicely and the rooms have everything you realistically need.

The hotel is very quiet and peaceful and the history of the manor is very cool.

We loved the chandeliers in the foyer, the photos online don’t do the venue justice as we were pleasantly surprised

Upon arrival, the external building and grounds of this former orphanage and historic building are impressive. However, internally it’s a different story - as everything is just a bit old, tired and it even smelled musty. ||My room was OK, although the mix of decor was eclectic, and not in a good way! My friend asked to have another room so she could have a balcony to smoke. She was given a smaller room (and effectively downgraded), but the manager would not refund the difference. ||We ate in the restaurant, but the meal was average at best. The roast of the day was actually pre-prepared pan fried pieces of pork. My friend’s chicken schnitzel was a dark crumbed lump of dried chook with an inedible limp and undressed salad. She ate the chicken and chips only because she was hungry. Kudos to our wait staff Tabitha who tried hard to make the experience more pleasant. ||Overall, it was not of a standard we are used to at Mercure hotels .

Staff are very friendly and helpful. With only 15 minutes before the kitchen closed, they served us 2 meals, and we were thankful for their service would recommend this place the server was so lovely and helpful

Dark stinking outdated dirty the list could go on for day's.
JUST GIVE THIS PLACE A BIG MISS.
Not worth $20 a night I've travelled for years working staying in motels and this place is the worst by a mile and if I could give it a negative score I definitely would.

Restaurant was closed unfortunately. We went to the Rutherford Hotel for dinner. Great food, large meals, very tasty. Service at bar was excellent, busy night as it was Mother's Day.

A charming hotel with character, offering a serene escape. Waking up to the sight of lush green fields and the soothing sound of birds chirping was a highlight.||I stayed in Room 136, which was exceptionally spacious and well-equipped. It featured a comfortable king bed along with a pullout sofa bed, perfect for families or additional guests. The modern amenities and thoughtful touches made the stay even more comfortable.||As a Platinum member, I enjoyed the convenience of welcome drinks via the app and a delicious breakfast included in the package. The service was warm and attentive throughout my stay, adding to the overall experience.||Highly recommend this hotel for its tranquil ambiance, excellent amenities, and attentive service!

To anyone that wants to stay in a run down nunnery this is for you. The place smelt of carpet cleaning deodorants, the room were not cleaned to a very good standard.. The beds were nearly as old as the hotel very disappointing.
Checked In and checked out 30 minutes later.
Pay a bit more somewhere else it's not value for money!!
