Mercer + Smith (Calla and Jackie) made our wedding day absolutely seamless. From their thoughtful recommendations during the planning stages to their calm and attentive presence throughout the day, they ensured that everything ran smoothly from start to finish.

They provided excellent vendor recommendations, and I would wholeheartedly trust any vendor they suggest. Their network and expertise took a lot of the stress off our shoulders, knowing we were in great hands with the professionals they connected us with.

We felt completely supported by their coordination and check-ins, which allowed us to stay calm and fully enjoy every moment. They even went above and beyond at the end of the night, helping us pack up and ensure everything was taken care of.

In addition, Mercer + Smith has a fantastic eye for design. Their rental inventory made it easy for us to rent items like easels and card boxes, and they set up everything beautifully throughout the entire wedding. Their attention to detail truly brought our vision to life.

Their professionalism, organization, and kindness were exceptional. We are beyond grateful to have had Calla and Jackie by our side and can’t recommend Mercer + Smith enough for anyone looking for a reliable, creative, and top-notch coordination team. Jackie and Calla at Mercer and Smith Events were absolutely wonderful and amazing to work with! I couldn’t have asked for a better team to help coordinate and design invitation and signage suites for our wedding.
I cannot express enough gratitude towards them for making our wedding day absolutely flawless. From start to finish, they handled every detail with such professionalism and ease, ensuring that not only was the planning process stress-free but that our big day flowed perfectly. Their organization and attention to detail meant that every aspect of the day—from the ceremony to the reception seating arrangements and to the timeline—was seamless, allowing us to focus on what truly mattered: celebrating with our loved ones.
Their work on our invitations and signage was stunning. Though this is a separate service from their day-of-coordination, I highly recommend utilizing it! I had provided the inspiration with a subtle butterfly theme in mind, along with the color scheme, and what resulted was more than I ever expected. The designs were simply beautiful, capturing our vision in a way that made everything feel unique and personal. The invitations were elegant and made such an impression on our guests from the start. The signage on the day was equally gorgeous, perfectly guiding our guests and adding an extra touch of charm and sophistication to our venue.
Jackie and Calla are the perfect team and were very professional and pleasant to work with! They both have a calming presence which definitely helps to ease your worries and any stress or anxiety you may feel as the day quickly approaches. Your special day will be in good hands, as I know ours was! They truly made our wedding dreams come true, and we can’t thank them enough!

We are so grateful for Jackie and Calla! They did day-of coordination for us but it was so much more than just helping on our wedding day. Even though we only had about 45 guests we couldn’t have done it without them. Our wedding day went so smoothly. They even had decorations for rent and made these beautiful signs!

We hired Mercer and Smith as both a design team to create the wedding of our dreams and as "day of coordinators" to ensure the day went perfectly. First and foremost the ceremony and reception was even more gorgeous than we anticipated (and we had great expectations as the custom mood board and design for our event was stunning enough to print and keep in our wedding book). The stunning and detailed design that was presented by the team prior to the wedding came to life even more beautifully than I could have possibly imagined. Every single detail was perfect from the draping of deep green fabric over the custom black linen welcome sign at the entrance, to the sweetheart table dripping in romance, candlelight and greenery. We could hear our guests exclaiming with wonder and awe as they entered the venue. Additionally, Mercer and Smith's attention to the timeline made the event SPECTACULAR with no down periods, or awkward moments- just perfectly timed food, fun and dancing! I have been told by every single guest that it was the most amazingly gorgeous and perfectly flowing evening and the absolute best wedding. The night moved from ceremony to cocktail hour/hors d'oeuvres, to dinner and dancing smoothly and appeared effortless (although there was nothing effortless about the precision and ease our guests experienced- it was all due to the professionalism, organization and skill that Mercer and Smith possessed behind the scenes). Mercer and Smith pulled all of our great vendors together perfectly and allowed us to have a truly wonderful evening enjoying our loved ones and our reception! We are in the process of hiring them for our one year anniversary and greatly looking forward to the magic they will bring to our next event.

Jackie and Calla, founders of Mercer and Smith, are two insanely kind, detail-oriented, and highly organized professionals that executed the wedding of our dreams. After we had heard so many great things about their work we were so excited when we found out they were available to coordinate our wedding. Mercer + Smith Events are incredible wedding coordinators. The month of the wedding they went above and beyond to make a detailed list of the day, contact my vendors, and help out with last-minute changes.
Can I just say that a TROPICAL STORM came bumbling in on my wedding day and Calla and Jackie made me feel so at ease and worked so hard to get everyone on the same page and move the whole ceremony AND reception inside.
All this happened and my day still went perfect!!!!
Honestly they did way more for me than they should have, and if I could go back I would hire them for ALL their services.
