Went here for an event.

I wasnt going to review this place but we were just so surprised with the staff and food.

We didn't expect much for the food BUT we were amazed how good it was (except maybe the dessert).

Also the staff were friendly, specially the one serving our table. But hearing other people, they had no issues with staff.

The reception hall is great.
The food need is okay but need little bit of care when serving. Specially we got dishes in to tables without serving spoons and when we asked the waitress said they are coming but never came. It’s a simple action to add spoons when they are coming out of the kitchen.
Other than that no issues.
Recommend this place.

absoloutely amazing bartender siana, amazing waitress nikola, both beautiful and kind service they treated me so well, absolutely love being here!! recommended to everyone i know. Everyone needs to experience this place at least 5 times in their life!! waitress and bartender made me laugh constantly. very respectful and the boss is very nice and generous. love it

Large family group of us attended a deb ball last night. My elderly mum is in a wheelchair which we had notified the venue weeks earlier. No ramp found to enable mum to enter the hall. Had to go back outside to come in side door. We were told there was a disabled toilet near our table. Toilet was filthy & door wouldn't close. Then told it was "out of service" but no sign.
Directed to another toilet, far side of very crowded room, difficult to wheel between tables. Finally got there, door says occupied.Waited 10 mins, then knocked
Asked staff, they said it was locked. They got someone to come to unlock it. It had by then been very long wait for Mum to use the toilet
There were white fragments on floor, which got onto mum's black trousers. This saga really took the shine off an otherwise nice evening
Superviser Christina was very apologetic and sweet but the whole thing was stressful.
The ramp was eventually found at the end of the night but not set up, so we went out the side door to leave.

Went to a soccer presentation function which was attended by 700 people . The venue is spacious and well set out giving a ‘grand’ feeling. The food was great and the staff were attentive and quick with service.

We went to a Deb Ball here on Saturday night with over 700 people. This venue was outstanding. The service was excellent food was amazing delicious good size serving and served hot. I would recommend Melrose to anyone for a function. The staff on the evening did a fabulous job and are a credit to this business. Thank you

Used the ballroom venue. Quite spacious. We’ll set tables around the stage. Change rooms upstairs. Restrooms clean. Function had three course meal. Well cooked food and served quickly whilst still hot. Dance floor huge. Plenty parking at venue with security patrolling all the time. Highly recommended

The place is quite big.. Actually its big enough to hold 500 people maybe. We held our Kawanua Christmas Gala Dinner there. And everything went well. The food is delicious and the service is excellent. The toilet is clean. In short, we are satisfy to use this place.
