I had the pleasure of taking Melissa's 2 week boot camp course and it was genuinely an amazing experience.
When I started my first day at the course I was very anxious and unsure of what to expect as this was my first ever makeup course I've taken but Melissa and her team were so lovely and made me feel comfortable and welcoming. The atmosphere was so friendly and everyone including the other students were so lovely. This course has really opened my eyes into realising that I want to do makeup professionally as a career and I will never forget the amazing experience I had at Melissa Sassine Academy.

I had the pleasure of having my bridal makeup done by Emily from Melissa Sassine Academy this past weekend. Her work is impeccable and her care and attention to detail is unmatched. She is a true professional. Not only did she make me and all the girls look beautiful, she patched me up and gave me all my pep talks for the big day with all my emotional moments. Because of Emily, I have an album of beautiful photos to last a lifetime. I could not recommend Emily or the Melissa Sassine Academy more highly for special event makeup. As someone who was very particular about makeup for my wedding day, I found Melissa Sassine and the work of her wonderful makeup artists on Instagram and knew I had found what I was looking for! My bridal makeup artist Bella was so lovely, and catered to everything I wanted for myself, my bridesmaids and the mother of the bride. Highly recommend!

I completed the 4-week makeup course and found it lacking in several areas. The practical lessons were insufficient, leaving me with minimal new skills or knowledge. The makeup kit provided should have included more products and offered better value for the cost of the course. Additionally, the graduation night catering was below expectations. However, the makeup artists assisting were friendly and helpful.
Overall, the course did not deliver the value or experience I anticipated and was not worth the investment.

Emily and Bella from Melissa Sassine did my wedding makeup and it was perfect. I was very particular about how I wanted my bridal makeup to look and Emily did a beautiful job - I couldn’t have been happier with my look.
