From the day my (now) husband and I walked into Leonda by the Yarra we knew this was going to be where we got married.

We were looking for a small intimate space and the garden room was the perfect size for our wedding. We initially met with Luna who showed us around the venue and chatted about all it had to offer! We were sold with the extra special touch of being able to exit Leonda by boat (booked externally) but a very special way to leave our wedding as husband and wife!

Our coordinator Maria was fabulous all the way through the planning process. No query of mine was too big or small (and I had many) Maria was efficient with her response and professional. My vision came to life and I was over the moon when I saw the reception on my wedding day!

We loved the tasting night they offer complimentary to the bride, groom and 4 guests to sample the menu (food and alcohol) that was fun night to spend with our wedding party!

The staff were amazing on the day taking extra special care of the bridal party and ensuring everything was seamless. Guests raved about the food also and how delicious it was!

One of the greatest days of our lives that we wish we could re-live again, thank you Leonda and Team ❤️

The Seminar our association held at Leonda in November 2024 was a great success thanks to the excellent facilities, set up, quality of food and most of all the professionalism and top class training and attitude of the staff. They were friendly, helpful and gave us personalised service, which was such a nice, caring touch.

The IT set up was great and there were absolutely no hitches experienced in the whole event. We loved the oval tables this year, rather than round tables. They were perfect for our seminar seating. Parking arrangements were excellent and the venue was clean, fresh, and elegant. We have been holding our events here for several years now and look forward each year to another wonderful occasion. Thank you to the Leonda team!!

We had our wedding at Leonda by the Yarra with ~250 guests, and the night was spectacular! Everything went perfectly, the staff and coordinators were super helpful and the food was delicious. There were pretty much no issues, and the staff helped us work through all the bits and pieces to bring our vision to life. Highly recommend!

Maria, Chris and Melissa are the best of the best! Will not get better than experience! From the day we walked into Leonda and our experience with Melissa to our taste testing event which felt like a wedding on its own! Not a step wrong from them and no guest has had better food or service from the Leonda staff!! We had comments all night about what a venue and how 5 star the food was! Thank you Leonda! Could not think of a better venue and staff!!!

We recently had the most magical wedding at The Stables, and we could not be happier with our experience!
From the moment we stepped onto the grounds, we were completely enchanted and knew we had found our perfect venue. Every single staff member were exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. Their attention to detail and dedication to making our wedding dreams come true was evident in every aspect of our event, from the smooth as silk management of our run sheet to the ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL food (side note our guests have not stopped raving about the food, 4 months later and we are still getting compliments).
The planning process was absolutely seamless, thanks to the incredible coordination team who were always eager to assist with any questions we had (and boy did we have a lot!!) and lighting fast with their response times, we were never left waiting.
The venue itself is stunning, with beautifully maintained gardens and scenery that made for the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and photos. The Stables itself is so romantic and full of charm, and exactly what we were seeking for an intimate and relaxed evening with our guests. We received countless compliments from our guests on how beautiful and well organised everything was.
We cannot recommend The Stables and the team at Melbourne Event Group enough to any future couples looking for a wedding venue. They made our special day truly unforgettable and stress free, and we are so grateful for their hard work and dedication. Thank you for making our wedding day the best day of our lives! <3 <3

100 of our friends-all over 65-as are we- gathered together for a celebration of many splendid things including our marriage. Leonda staff provided excellent service tailored to our needs including delicious food in a beautiful environment. They showed great kindness to the needs of those less able. Shout out to our coordinator, Kendall Shaw, for her excellent service & her patience with my lack of computer skills
