Easy enough to get to once you find the right track, best with a high clearance vehicle, and there are a couple of gates for the kids to open (and close). There are a few near vertical rock shelves to climb down to get to the water, take your time and be careful.

The falls themselves were quite good, IMO not in the calibre of say Davis Creek Falls out from Mareeba, but still nice. Road in appeared not to have been used in quite a while. Once in location, track(s) to the Falls is/are not well defined. We enjoyed the area but not recommended to take 2WD or "your pride and joy" - unless it's a bush-basher. Walking in is probably best option if you don't have a bush-basher. Of course, this changes if there is some track work done.

Well worth visiting. Walked in from gate at McKenzie road end about 2.5kms and that was worth it. Falls were quite spectacular.
