Good parking is the start, followed by good views up and down the river. Some of the many walks pass through here. Take care as there are some reasonable steep drop off's on the track and at the viewing area. Mountains in the distance are interesting.

Went late in the afternoon to catch the sunset and caught a couple of trains going by in the distance. Was the only one there so was quite peaceful (maybe a little dangerous?)
Very easy hike just wear good footwear as it's a bit sandy.

Red Cliff is facing east so it must look it's best early morning. The views from the lookout are great late afternoon. We walked up to the blue bush garden as well.
