Can’t recommend mates escape highly enough, from our initial enquiry to the Japan MotoGP experience every thing was efficient and well organised, the facilities, transport and location was excellent, Paul went out of his way to ensure that we got the best experience possible, and as a result my husband caught “Pecco’s” knee slider off the podium, a really fantastic thing to happen to anyone and seriously exciting. The Honda museum was an absolute highlight and we wouldn’t have known about it if not for Paul who encouraged us all to experience it. It truly was a pleasure.

This was our first experience using Mates Escapes (having previously used another sports tour company for other events).
The hotel was a great location, close to amenities and shops and as we had never travelled in Japan before we were wary of the room size and were pleasantly surprised. Love the bidets.
We were well informed what time and where the bus was to pick us up and return us to the track for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The track has so much choice for food and drinks and the merchandise was varied, which is not always available at all tracks.
Our only bit of a negative was our seat allocation at the races which was around the back part of the track, had a straight and a great corner, but no close amenities which was a factor for us. Again, this is on us for not looking into this and asking for different seats.
We watched from a park area in the track with three big screens and shops all around us for food, drink, toilets and ice creams. Was a great spot and you could still hear and smell the bikes.
We would use Mates Escapes again.

We cannot recommend Mates' Escapes enough. They were fantastic to deal with and organised a brilliant golfing holiday for us. They were always available to help and support and couldn't have been more helpful. Their organisation from beginning to end was outstanding and the holiday was so enjoyable thanks to them.The fact that they were there when any issues arose (no fault of theirs) was a real comfort. Their support was excellent. We would definitely deal with Mates' Escapes again and highly recommend their service.

My experience with Mate's Escape was second to none.
The person I delt with was very professional and easy to deal with.
Everything was perfect, the ticketing, the private residence, grandstand seating. We had the best time ever without having to worry if something was going to go wrong. I have no problems in recommending Mate's Escape to anyone who wants to book an exciting holiday. Mates Escape helped us with everything we need for our 2024 Bathurst experience. Unfortunately, Ford didn't win.

We used Mates Escapes for the 2024 Bathurst 1000. They handled our accommodation and tickets for the race. Accommodation was sufficient, staying in town is hard to come by and quite convenient compared to other motorsport events we have attended. The information packet was emailed 4 weeks ahead of time and was generally good, albeit it was unclear that our 1 bed/1 bath reservation was a small accessory dwelling unit behind the listed address. We met up with the reps to handle the key handoff and that was it, instructions were clear for our departure. All in all, it was a very clean, professional experience.

Decided at last minute to go to the Japan MOTOGP, contacted mates escapes to enquire about it after seeing it on a Facebook feed. Super friendly customer service from the very start all the way through with ticketing & on site support when we arrived in Utsumunomiya. All information we received was clear & concise on how to navigate getting there & tickets etc. Our allocated hotel was a 2 min walk from railway station - it was comfortable clean & next door was a 7-11 & had great laundry facilities (needed after humid days at the track). Lots of restaurants in the area to enjoy great food. We arrived early on the Friday & the coach was there waiting - it was easily identified with a large mates escapes sign on the windscreen, we met Paul & had a chat whilst we waited for others to arrive & soon enough on our way to the track. It’s about 30km to the track & double lanes on way out & single on way back as you get close to the city so we knew to expect traffic delays. Being a private bus was a bonus & throughout the weekend Paul was there & reminded everyone of departure times & provided updates as needed. Ticket options were great & we had awesome seats, Everything went so smoothly from start to finish & the admin team get top marks. We highly recommend mates escapes & want to personally thank Paul for his support in making it a great adventure.

We travelled with them in Japan for the motogp, mates escape made our trip so easy, we can't complain about anything, it was just à great trip, if we look for an other trip they can organise for us we will use them for sure.
