While the rooms and decor are a little outdated. And the mattress offers less support than most would prefer... you simply cannot beat this view waking up.

I've stayed a few times now.

Offer of a bistro inside (while yet to eat on site myself it is always busy and food looks great)

Service at the front desk is great. And offer of a free drink etc inside the room on arrival.

Bathrooms again. Small and slightly outdated. However it all works as it should.

On site parking always a plus.

All in all. Great for a weekend away. Can't complain too much about the bed with the view In the morning and evening

This hotel is situated near Batemans bay town centre and the room booked was a Executive Queen Room

Pros:
- The room allocated was clean and has a good view over the Clyde river
- Walking distance to nearby shops & restaurants
- Walkway alongside the beachfront
Cons:
- Cost is slightly on the pricier side
- No Microwave
- Room was a walk to get to with no Lift/Elevator access

Overall would be ok for a 1 night stopover. Stay was decent, Didn't have any major issues with any sort of noise throughout my stay, bed was comfortable to sleep in. Has all the other basic amenities as expected.

Overpriced and Outdated for NYE – Disappointing Experience

We stayed here on New Year’s Eve, paying over $450 for a Queen Executive Room, expecting a premium experience. Unfortunately, it fell far short.

The customer experience started poorly as soon as we arrived. The outdated building, combined with a lack of modern conveniences like lifts, meant we had to carry our luggage up stairs—unacceptable for the exorbitant price charged.

The room was shockingly small and outdated, with visible wear and tear, a tiny TV, and paper-thin walls that let every noise from neighbouring rooms seep through. Bright lights from outside streamed in, even with the blinds closed, making it difficult to sleep. Basic upgrades like blackout curtains, modern furnishings, and soundproofing are desperately needed.

The bar was equally underwhelming. On what should be one of the busiest and most celebratory nights of the year, it lacked any atmosphere or effort to create a festive experience. It felt sterile and uninspired, more like a waiting area than a place to enjoy New Year’s Eve.

At over $450 a night, this stay was extremely disappointing and not worth the cost. We cannot recommend this property and would not stay here again, let alone at this price.

This motel was way more motel-ish than I was expecting, but perhaps that was my misunderstanding. Check-in experience was perfunctory not friendly, however the room was clean and comfortable. On-site undercover parking was convenient.||Was pleasantly surprised by the bistro, generous portions of delicious japanese meals. My karaage chicken was fantastic and so reasonably priced for the quality and size.

We spent five nights at this hotel, and I must say the location was ideal. The room service met my expectations and was quite satisfactory. One downside was the bathroom, which lacked an exhaust fan; even with the door and window open, it tended to get steamy. While the decor felt a bit outdated, everything was still functional. Overall, considering the price and the fantastic location, I was very pleased with my stay.

I recently stayed at the marina on the waterfront in Bateman Bay. I paid $189 for a Queen room. The hotel was half empty and they decided to put me in a back room with no view or balcony. Every time someone use the toilet or shower in the other rooms it was so loud it would wake you up. The queen bed I slept in was so uncomfortable ,not a quality mattress by any means ,unacceptable for this price of hotel room.Beware if you stay this hotel not to get a back looking at the carpark.

Beware, I would not recommend this motel at all. I booked and paid the price of a queen deluxe room with water views and balcony, however on arrival we were downgraded in room without a refund of the price difference or explanation, This was booked over 4 weeks ago. Rooms are advertised and descriptions posted on the website are incorrect according to management. Management also tried to pass the queen room, according to the description on website as the Deluxe queen room, which did not fit the advertised description on their website.

They have 6 deluxe queen rooms and take 15 bookings for the same rooms collecting higher tariffs and put the customer's in whatever room they please, collecting the higher tariffs.

Motel is very outdated, rooms are small and some still have the shower over the bath, which could be tricky for the elderly.

This motel is like purchasing something of temu.

This was a very nice and well located Hotel. The place is spotless and the staff were lovely 🙂 Note you only get shampoo not conditioner or shower gel so bring some. The rooms were lovely and very clean. Just make sure you request a balcony "Street view" means window only. Still ok but we would have preferred a balcony. The Hotel part doesn't open until 4pm just a note. But the food was delicious :)... Its super close to everything and the peer out the front is a morning coffee must !
