My husband and I just got married this past July. At the very beginning of the planning process we knew we wanted a full service planner. Both him and I don’t have mother’s to help, so we knew we needed some experienced hands on deck. That’s where Marina and her team come in. From our very first phone call, all the way until the wedding day, Marina made it clear that her priority was to capture every detail we dreamed of for our wedding. There were times where I wasn’t sure what I wanted, and Marina and her team gave me clear & professional guidance.

We had a destination wedding on Martha’s Vineyard, which made some of my wants more challenging to accommodate. For example, I was absolutely set on wanting cotton candy with edible glitter as one of my dessert options. Marina spent months going through the process to make sure that happened for me. She also knew how much we wanted to incorporate honoring our mothers’ memories on the day, and the amount of detail, attention and care she took to make what we wanted perfect was nothing short of amazing.

We could not have asked for a better, more talented team to have worked with for our wedding. The day was incredible and the process was as stress free as wedding planning could get. The professionalism, creativity and fun of this team is unmatched. I couldn’t recommend Marina Luri Events more!!! If you are looking for your sign to just pull the trigger and hire someone, this is it. You won’t regret making this investment in your day.

If there were ever a time when a stellar wedding planner was really needed, it was in the last two years planning while navigating a pandemic. We got married on Sept. 11, 2021 (postponed a year), and it was our dream day/weekend, thanks to Marina and her team. Marina went above and beyond from what you would normally expect with a planner. In addition to researching and contacting vendors, negotiating contracts, doing walk-throughs and building out our vision (things like a fun tequila escort wall!), Marina always exuded calmness, a positive energy, a sense of humor and a special design eye that we found very valuable. (The Friday night welcome party, Saturday night ceremony/reception and Sunday brunch truly looked like a fairytale!)

You can have a good planner but it meant a lot to my husband and I that she became a friend as well. You can tell that she is a friend to many as all her connections in the industry were happy to help out in any way. Marina always thinks 10 steps ahead; we knew we could rely on her, and if we ever got stressed with anything wedding-related, she would put us at ease in a heartbeat. A BIG thank you to Marina and her team for all their time and effort to create the most memorable weekend of our lives.

If there were 10 stars that is what I would give Marina & her team. My son and his bride decided to forge ahead and have a small intimate weekend wedding. Once the decision was made, Marina and her team went full throttle - making the weekend one of the most memorable times we could have wished for. Even though we didn't have the 200 person wedding, somehow she made it feel like it was - from the fantastic DJ she brought in (because it's all about the music) to transforming a yoga barn into a magical dream come true. Every detail was well thought out - and there are many, many details that go into an event - whether it's 35 people or 200.
