As a local, this is a must go-to destination in Mannum. The town's river history is presented in an appealing and interactive format and the centre has a fantastic selection of quality souvenirs. From here you can find out about what there is to see and do while in Mannum and book a cruise on one of the boats based in town. The friendly volunteers are knowlegeable and most helpful.

The Dark Sky display is peddling absolute rubbish with its touch screen display. The mathematics in the source code is incorrect and this has been explained to them. The display is telling people thay they can see an excellent view of the Milky Way from the centre of Victoria Square!! That's just utter rubbish, but they installed the display knowing it was utter rubbish. Total loss of credibility by those involved. The display should be removed ASAP.
