This place was so accommodating, we only stayed one night but we will definitely keep this place in mind when we come back again, rooms were tidy and clean with everything that we needed including the little kitchen at the back of the pub, the stove could use an update but the toastie maker humms, we even used it to cooked ours steaks on it and gave the owner some of our snags for the dog the next day. Thanks again for the lovely stay. Partner and I were really pleased and left feeling relaxed. ?

We have stayed here twice now and we recommend this place to anyone that is visiting. Accommodation is very clean and comfortable. Every meal we have had as been 1st class , the staff are just amazing very friendly and very welcoming.Its our favourite place now ?.

To be honest furst impression wasnt a pretty looking place from outside with bottle shop frontage i wondered had i made mistake....no!
Great rooms, modern. Powerful showers, comfiest bed at the end i stripped bed to note matress label, no road noise.
Pub was great ambience... if you can get in very popular esp sat night, but no noise.

Staff on phone booking was true blue warm aussie "sheila" sadly she was off when i was there soo nice i wanted to say hi. Other staff were friendly, funny, warm. Lots of Italian staff who were so welcoming and service was great.

Food was nice, i had an awesome pizza with blue cheese (not everyone taste but i love blue cheese especially strong italian ones).

So yep first impressions wrong. Would i go back? Definately great base. Also we loved field full of newbourne lambs and ewes next door was a constant entertainment for kids on its own.

I also like wide parking bays outside rooms to unload.

Disappointed with our meals, salads, only leaves that's all, garlic sauce cold, few chips and steak was raw, had to go back, garlic bread nice. We regularly go and local people we always have the same meals always been great, not few weeks ago.

Visited overnight recently and was pleasantly surprised with the queen room my partner and I stayed. Quiet, clean, spacious and comfortable; well worth your time if you're looking for a decent place to sleep in the area. I can't think of any negatives other than there not being a doormat as I didn't want to track dirt into the room for the cleaners to have to deal with.

Had booked into Hotel room was good and clean. Tea coffee kettle and toaster. Booking in was easy. Staff friendly. We had dinner at their restaurant. Service was great food was yummy. Had garlic bread, Chicken pizza , garlic prawns with salad rice. Salmon with mash broccoli. We all walked away happy. Also bottleshop , front bar, lounge bar and outdoor area to have a beer. Located about 4 minutes from town. Will be going back again
