The Mandurah Visitor Centre is a great place to get all the information you need for the must visit places around Mandurah. It was also very easy to find. We went in to ask about the Thomas Dambo Giants. The officer on duty gave us detailed information and advice on the route to the 3 giants, and what to expect with our different levels of fitness.
There was so much information to obtain, but we were quite specific with what we were after. She was also very friendly and answered all the questions we asked.

Most of the Visitors center in Australia is a good place to visit and this is no exception (the other one i would highly recommend is Port Campbell in VIC). Parking is plenty despite small construction happening around the area. They can suggest activities around Mandurah and also help in your quest to find the Giants. Local arts & crafts and other souvenirs are on display. There are also some picnic table and toilet nearby.

Very nice building and helpful staff.
They also offer a free walking tour of Mandurah with an extremely knowledgeable guide. It takes about 1.5 hrs with a few stops for some interesting explanations of the history of Mandurah. I really recommend that tour, it's awesome ?

If your on holiday and need ideas whilst staying in Mandurah this is the place to go. Plenty of information to take away and staff are very helpful. Also grab a gift to take home with you. Lost one star because the toilets were absolutely disgusting and stank.

Unfortunately, we followed the directions provided to reach the Giants, which advised starting at Black Swan car park and following the trail to Little Lui. There was even a sign post trail rp advisethe track, but no futher signsfollowed. However, after walking for 3.5km and 45 minutes around the entire lake, we didn't find what we came to see. This was a disappointing use of our travel time, especially as it turns out the Giants aren't even located near the lake.

The signage and maps need updating to clearly direct visitors to the correct spot. Would love to see clearer guidance in the future for those visiting!"

We drove to Marlee Reserve the other end which wasnt the Black Swan carpark, walked 800mts in and it was there. So no need for the 3.5km lake trip, with non existent signs to help you.

Friendly, very helpful staff. Lovely arts & crafts on display too. City works happening around this section of the broadwalk/foreshore meant some parking delay but did not bother us as it was a Tuesday, not the weekend.
