Unfortunately, Accommodation is lacking. We found mould in the toaster, mould all over the shower curtain. Bed was uncomfortable, can feel the springs. Bar and Restaurant not open, limited places to eat around. Were hoping for a pic under the fairy light tunnel, but not on, on a Saturday night even though advertised 7 nights a week. Grounds itself and lodge has lots of potential, set in a beautiful setting and piece of land.

Note that the standard rooms have adjacent doors that connect the bedrooms. This means that you hear everything from your neighbor as if they are in your own room. We had a loud snoring neighbor and could luckily change rooms (hence 5 stars for service).If you decide to stay here, pay a bit extra and choose the renovated room. Would not recommend taking the room with the adjacent door.Breakfast is nice and the location is good.

Great room, lovely grounds but most of all very helpful and kind staff. Tried other avenues and then offered to call around to find me accommodation somewhere else when I could not book the second night I later needed- that was unexpected and really made me day that someone was being so supportive and kind.

Very beautiful room and accommodation, we stayed in room number 2, unfortunately had the worst sleep though as the bed was so uncomfortable, hard as a board and we could feel every spring. A shame or we would definitely be back. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Lovely and quiet place. Clean and neat. Nice place to stay and explore the tablelands from. Just wish that with the included breakfast, that if you can't attend at the allocated time, it would be lovely to have just toast and jam/ spread, for in the room as an option. Seeing it has all the facilities there.
Have stayed several times and like it but have never been able to enjoy BF here. Having to go into Malanda ech time......

20-30 flies on the ceiling and in the room which we had to chase out. Mosquitos also. Nice to hear the plethora of birds morning and night. Breakfast is from 8.30 to 9.30 which is too late for a-lot of travellers, I can only guess this is purposely done hoping guest have already left. Mattress old and hollowed. Quiet apart from the occasional night time semi trucks rumbling past.

The friendliest staff was the room cleaner. The room didn’t have a lock on the inside of the door so our 4 year old got out of the room at 3am trying to find nanna in the next room. The wedding and company were great, the bar staff were not as friendly and a drunk guy with no shoes keep walking around and sitting at the bar all night and that’s the only person bar staff were interested in serving. No RSA!

My husband and I were married on the 1st March 2025, and had the best day of our lives. The ceremony in the gardens was perfect, the food was amazing, bar staff and event team were great! It was an amazing venue space, with beautiful theming on the restaurant ceiling. We hired Serena from Creative Touch and she brought the tables to life.

The Lodge facilities are perfect for a mid-size wedding of 50-80px with plenty of dancing space. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous and kept to perfection by the team.

The price point compared to other venues is very good value for money, and the owner and management were flexible with our requests - which we appreciated so much. Also the fact that you have exclusive use made the weekend so much fun with all our family and friends!

We were able to make our wedding dreams come to life with this versatile space and I still get butterflies when I drive past it. Thank you so much to the team!
