We spent four days in this wonderful B&B on Magnetic Island, which is located a 15 minutes walk to Horseshoe Bay where you find some lovely restaurants and cafés and a beach. We lived in a seperate house surrounded by a beautiful garden with colourful birds and wallabies. Phil, the host, cares for everything. In the morning he prepared a wonderful breakfast with lots of fruits and a great coffee on his terrace. He gave us lots of tipps where to find koalas and wallbies on the island and even lent us really comfortable beach chairs to enjoy the sunset at West Point. It was a perfect stay and we can highly recommend this B&B!

😊: Our stay at MI Bed and Breakfast was so relaxing - like staying with a friend. Phil was very generous with his time, knowledge and humour, and happy to pick us up even when it was late and drop us off even when it was early! His group breakfasts were delicious and healthy and it was lovely hanging out a bit with fellow guests from other countries.He also did a load of washing for us! Also loved the visiting birds and wallabies and the quiet. The bed was very comfortable and the place very clean😁.
😢: Sometimes walking home from the bus stop after a big walk seemed a bit hard but really it was a short flat walk in lovely countryside so no cause for complaint!.

Host was super nice and breakfast excellent. stay in a separate house , so lots of privacy. Host has many tips what to do and feeds the birds, so many wildlife. We enjoyed it a lot! Magnetic island is small and cosy island. Beach is close to this house. And restaurants as well.

|I had the most wonderful time at the B&B. Philip is the most inspiring person I‘ve ever met. He not only showed me the island in a very unique way but made me understand nature more. Moreover he really cared I will have a great time. He even cut vegetables & fruit to take out and feed the wallabys.||The accommodation was perfect. I could see in every corner how he takes care of the rooms and the garden. Same for the breakfast, healthy, delicious and nicely prepared.||If you are looking for a unique experience and get a real taste of living on the island, you have to stay at Philips B&B.

WOW!!! Had a truly outstanding and memorable experience here. The Bed and Breakfast is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac in the Horseshoe Bay area, surrounded by lovely gardens and filled with beautiful birds. The room is attractive and comfortable, with a lovely shared bathroom, and additional access to a large common area. The continental breakfast was extremely high quality - both substantial and delicious. Best of all is the owner himself (Philip) - an exceptionally gracious, interesting, knowledgable and helpful host. He really went above and beyond for us - giving help and advice in whatever way he could to make our trip such an enjoyable and unforgettable one.

Spent 2 nights over the long weekend. Great value, breakfast, and service. Breakfast was perfect before our hike. Philip has a great knowledge of the island and its attractions and offered complimentary pick-up and drop-off to ferry. Bus stop is in close proximity and an economical form of transport to explore the island with unlimited trips per day for under $5 per person.
We had one of the bedrooms in the main house with use of shared bathroom. There's a lounge area with TV but after exploring each day we didn't bother. Beautiful wide verandah, gardens and a pool. And Griffin is a sweetheart ❤️

I had a fantastic stay at Phil's place - nice roomy apartment, amazing breakfast with a lot of tropical birds and Griffin, the super friendly dog.|Phil is an great host, showing me a lot of wonderful places on the island and giving me a lot of interesting informations.|First and foremost, he's a remarkable human being.
