If only there was a zero star option!!! Our experience with Magi Pilgrimages was a complete disaster from start to finish. I strongly advise against booking with them, as their unprofessionalism, disorganisation, and incompetence led to one of the worst travel experiences we’ve ever had.

Firstly, we didn’t receive an itinerary until one week before the trip, which was our first indication of how poorly organised everything would be. Once the tour started, it became clear that the tour leaders were completely unprepared—they would actually write the day’s schedule on the bus as we were traveling, leaving the group constantly in confusion.

When visiting major attractions like the Vatican Museum, the tour leaders hadn’t even booked tickets in advance. We were left waiting for 2 hours outside, during which time half the group, frustrated and tired, left to do their own thing. The following day, at the Colosseum, the same mistake happened again—no tickets were booked, resulting in more delays and frustration.

To add to this, we had a domestic flight where we had pre-paid for extra luggage, but when we arrived at the airport, we were forced to pay again because the company hadn’t registered our luggage with the airline. This led to embarrassment, delays, and almost missing our flight. Despite numerous attempts to reach George (Rajesh) to address these issues, he failed to answer calls on multiple occasions, leaving the group feeling abandoned.

There was also a major issue with the bus driver, who got lost on multiple occasions, taking us down dangerous roads that were clearly unsuitable for buses. This caused immense stress and worry among the group, especially as we had many elderly travellers. Every day felt like a constant struggle due to the lack of organisation and professionalism.

On top of all that, the accommodations were terrible. We were told we’d be staying in places like Milan, but instead, we were placed in hotels 1-2 hours outside the city centres, which significantly limited our time to explore. The hotels were of very poor quality, far below what was advertised.

Although we did visit some beautiful churches and historic sites, the journey to get to them was often a nightmare due to the total lack of planning and structure.

To top it off, Magi Holidays continued to attempt to justify their incompetence with emotion and would continue to make our group feel guilty for Magi's failures. This is extremely immature and low. WE ARE NOT IDIOTS.

If Magi Pilgrimages believed in human decency, they would refund our money. It’s clear they profited immensely by cutting corners and giving us a cheap, frustrating experience. This company is not worth a single dollar.

In summary, Magi Pilgrimages is an unprofessional, incompetent company that completely failed to deliver on even the most basic expectations. The entire trip was stressful, poorly organised, and frustrating. I am certain that many group members will agree and will voice their frustrations. DO NOT SPEND A DOLLAR WITH MAGI HOLIDAYS.

Stay away from this business. Extremely unprofessional and misleading.
After numerous requests for our itinerary before our travel they finally provided us with this information just before our departure which didn't allow us to review the locations.
Our tours were never scheduled correctly or booked as per their advice. In addition, we'd have to wait in line to purchase tickets for local tours. We could hardly hear the tour guides provided as their English was poor and unclear. Our hotels were extremely far from all City centre's making it difficult to experience the culture and day or night life of the countries we visited. The hotels were dated and untidy with bed bugs in some of the rooms. When we complained to the tour operator during our trip he was rude and when we submitted poor reviews he refused to assist us unless we removed these reviews. This tour was poorly managed and scheduled. Do not book with this business.If I can give them zero stars I would.

The organisation of the trip was fantastic, from the airport at Melbourne and back. The tour managers were open to suggestions about additional trips and went overboard in some cases. The sites visited was as per itinerary and the stays and meals were great. The sites in the itinerary were the reason we chose Magi and we look forward to some more tours with them

The pilgrimage organised by Magi Pilgrimages and Magi Holidays was truly exceptional, seamlessly blending spiritual enrichment with cultural immersion. In Fatima, we visited the tombs of the visionaries and participated in the candlelight processions, fostering a deep sense of devotion. The journey continued to Avila, where the legacy of St. Theresa was vividly brought to life, and to Loyola, the birthplace of Saint Ignatius, enhancing our spiritual experience.

Our time in Lourdes was particularly memorable, with visits to the Upper and Lower Basilicas, witnessing nearly 15,000 military personnel from some 40 countries as part of the International Military Pilgrimage, praying the Rosary in front of the grotto, performing the water gesture at the Baths, and participating in the candlelight procession. The flexibility and organisation of Magi Pilgrimages were commendable, allowing us to fully engage with each location. The knowledgeable tour guides provided insightful commentary, enriching our understanding of each site.

This pilgrimage was a beautifully coordinated journey of faith, reflection, and community, leaving us with lasting memories and spiritual growth. Daily Masses were organised, and having a priest as part of the pilgrimage for spiritual nourishment made the experience even more fruitful. Additionally, though we did not know each other at the beginning, we became like a family by the end of our journey. Thank you for organising this unforgettable pilgrimage🙏🏻

My wife and I were searching for a company that offered a Holy Land tour and we came across Magi Holidays through a Google search. After communicating with George from their Melbourne office and attending their informative information nights in Sydney, where we had the pleasure of meeting the Priest who would accompany the group, we were convinced that Magi Holidays was the right choice for our Holy Land journey.

We decided to book the 16-day Holy Land Tour with a 3-day extension to Egypt, departing from Sydney on May 21st. The entire process was incredibly seamless, thanks to the exceptional care and attention to detail from the Magi Holidays staff. They managed every aspect of our trip, from the pre-holiday information nights that provided valuable insights to the prompt communication that kept us informed throughout.

Upon arriving at the airport in Jordan, we were greeted by the Magi staff, and this level of service continued throughout our entire tour. The attention to detail was truly exceptional, and we felt well taken care of both before our departure and during the tour itself. Magi Holidays even organised a chapel at each location so the Priest on tour with us could say daily mass for our group.

The tour guides who accompanied us were not only highly experienced but also extremely knowledgeable, enriching our journey with their insights and expertise. The accommodations provided by Magi Holidays were consistently comfortable and without hesitation, I would recommend Magi Holidays to anyone planning a Holy Land tour.

What a marvelous pilgrimage. It was a trip of a life time, worth every penny. I can't thank enough for organising these amazing Pilgrimages. Magi Holidays, you are blessed 🙏 i was looking for a Pilgrimage that is special and which would nourish us spirituallly. I found the exact match. It was a journey that broadened my knowledge and understanding about our relgion, miracles, and deepening my relationship with God. Priest was an added blessing to our Pilgrimage. Just been on Pilgrimage of Footprints of Jesus on 22 May 2023 unfortunately the hotels we stayed not even 3 Stars but advertised as 4 stars. Also the two of us plus another holiday members were left behind to scramble to get back to the hotel by ourselves, the worst thing was the tour manager and tour guide did not even know that there were people got left behind until we rang them. It was a big NO NO for not looking after the well being of the tour members.
Definitely will not even look at holidaying with this organization.
