Very disappointed love this little town and all Scottish poles. Turned off especially to bring our son in law to find is pole, and yes we could have walk around all the streets to find his but with so many we figured it would be easier to go to info centre or Scottish shop but neither were open . we were here on a Sunday which from where we can me from is one of the main tourist days but not here at Maclean bit silly of you not to open you miss sales

Obviously its full of Scottish bits and bobs to buy. Most of it seemed a bit pointless however the man who runs the store was very knowledgeable and great to spend 20 minutes talking to about the history of Maclean. He was happy getting out a range of info books to allow us to look up the history of surnames.

The shop had a great range of local pamphlets, guides and maps to help with day trips.
