My time at Adventure Lodge in Mackay was truly exceptional. The entire lodge feels brand new, clean, and beautifully designed with a modern, fresh aesthetic that instantly puts you at ease. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and genuinely eager to help, their hospitality made all the difference and created a welcoming, homey atmosphere from the very first moment.

My bed was incredibly comfortable, I slept really well every night. One of my favorite spots was the lovely outdoor seating area where I enjoyed my breakfast each morning.

Overall, Adventure Lodge perfectly combines style, comfort, and genuine friendliness. It’s a place I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting Mackay!

We had the most amazing 2 nights stay! They couldn’t be more accommodating! The hostel itself is lovely great facilities, the trips were great. Your guide Michelle was our tour guide mum she was absolutely amazing what’s credit to the business!!! 1st day we went to the waterfalls which was great with pie and chips for lunch which was an absolute treat!!!!, and the 2nd day we done sunrise with the wallabies and kangaroo which was unreal Michelle is basically a photographer she took everyone’s pictures throughout all the trips she was great❤️ They have a wakeboarding facility on the hostel grounds which is great fun and a bar which serves food and drinks. ||Our room was beautiful, Thank you so much for our 2 nights stay we will definitely be coming back if we are in Mackay! I would 100% recommend if you are doing east coast traveling or in Mackay!

The place has everything, pick up/ drop off to greyhound station, located next to a supermarket market, wake boarding lake on site, offering day tours from the Hostel.

Went on 2 tours, Michelle the tour guide was very fun, knowledgeable and friendly, she took great photos of each trip too. Both trips were perfect for site seeing and being with nature.

The hostel was clean, spacious and had charging points on each bed, towels provided. Everything was thought about, great stay.

My recent stay at the Adventure lodge was simply wonderful! The room was spacious and impeccably clean, with a comfortable bed and all the amenities I needed. Sina was incredibly friendly and helpful, making my check-in/check-out process smooth and efficient. I especially enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, which had a great variety of options. I would highly recommend this lodge for anyone visiting Mackay.

Absolutely amazing stay here. Due to the flooding we were stranded in Mackay, this hostel took us in very last minute (13 girls) and gave us all either a private room or a shared room. All the rooms were ready as soon as we arrived as well as a free breakfast which was amazing. Rooms came with a fresh towel and comfy clean beds. The hotel owner Amanda did everything in her power to make sure we were happy and safe. The common room is lovely and open with sofas and a large smart tv to watch whatever you want as well as a pool outside. |We can’t thank them enough for all the staff have done for us girls!

The nicest hostel in Australia. Clean, comfortable, free breakfast, nice pool, really nice social vibe in the kitchen/living room. The cleanest kitchen I have ever seen in a hostel! The transfers to the bus station were really appreciated too. The staff are all lovely and they put on great tours to see the wallabies at sunrise, waterfall and platypus tour and you can also wakeboard on the lake next door. Amazing stay at Mackay Adventure Lodge! The hostel is really great: the rooms are clean and cleaned daily, and you even get a towel included, which is a big plus. The included breakfast is very good, and the overall atmosphere is super friendly. The owner is lovely and always happy to help, just like the rest of the staff. Nothing to complain about, I 100% recommend it!

I had an absolutely amazing stay at the Adventure Lodge in Mackay! The staff were welcoming, and made every effort to ensure my experience was perfect. The transfer from the bus station was seamless and very well-organized.

During my stay, I joined the Sandy Hop Tour, and it was simply outstanding! Our guide, Michelle, was professional and shared so many fascinating insights about the area. Her enthusiasm and knowledge truly made the experience unforgettable.

The two days I spent here were full of excitement, adventure, and unforgettable moments. It’s the perfect place for anyone looking for a thrilling getaway and a chance to explore the beauty of the region!
