The ambience of this pub has completely changed for the better.
Such a beautiful renovation and space.
The view of Mt Macedon from the tables top it off. We visited on a very cold day but we were warmed by the sun coming in the big windows and the glorious fireplaces.
Lots of different seating options and spaces.
The staff in the bistro area were so lovely. Very professional and helpful. The food coming out of the kitchen looked delicious.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first (of many more to come!) meal in the newly refurbished Macedon Village Hotel.
Beautiful fresh ingredients in our meals with lots of choice for all dietary needs and palates.
Great atmosphere, comfy chairs and round tables make for a perfect social catch up with family and friends.
We’ll be back for sure!

So amazing having our “new and improved” local back. To date, my food has been great. Some of the dishes may be on the small side for some. Look forward to many more visits.

Chicken schnitzel was a small serving. Chips were excellent but not enough. Steamed veggies were fine. Classic, slightly bland, pub meal but nothing to rave about. Not really good value for money.
Ambience was ok. Artwork is a little dull. The music being piped in was like electro-elevator music and very repetitive.
Staff were friendly. Had to figure out where the water jugs were and grab them. Clean and tidy. The outdoor space will probably be nice in summer. Maybe pop some heaters outside?

Really impressed with the Reno’s and the food was top notch. Great steak sandwich with tender steak. Only losing points on service because it’s only via QR code and not table service. But staff were lovely. Cosy areas by fireplaces will be a favourite .

What a stunning hotel!
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with cozy indoor fireplaces that added a lovely touch. It’s a lovely spot! Really enjoyed the cosy décor and fireplaces at the Macedon Village Hotel. Plenty of seating options at the bar or restaurant, including a nice outdoor area for Summer. The burger was great, though the satay pizza was a bit small and mild in flavour. A glass of Pinot Noir at $24 was a surprise, but overall, a nice experience.

The newly renovated pub is lovely and warm, with great views from the large windows. We were warmly welcomed and staff were friendly and attentive. The seating is very comfortable. The meals were all a good size and my fish was tender and delicious. We enjoyed a great coffee in front of the fire after our meal. We already have plans to return!
