Recently returned from Temple 304 Palm Cove and the Resort is stunning and the apartment is fabulous.
However the condition. (Cleanliness) of the apartment is a lot to be desired.
Thank goodness we did not have to use the oven and/or stove whilst we were there, as both were quite disgusting.
Apartment door locks would jam, bathroom bins not emptied on arrival, bedside lamp in bedroom 2 had missing globe, clothes air dryer bent, Nespresso machine leaked water

I would like to highlight a recent experience with a boutique agency that has recently won an award in the luxury travel industry. Luxury Holidays Pty Ltd.

We turned up to our accommodation on Hamilton island with our 5 children (our first holiday ever as a family). We booked a place with a pool as getting 5 children out the door to the public pool everyday to then find seating etc can be extremely difficult. Let alone hiring an extra buggy for $750 that we had to end up doing.

When we went to swim in the pool, we noticed that alot of tiles were missing from the pool wall etc, to be honest the kids went swimming anyway as we thought nothing of it. My daughter sliced her foot open on a tile that was cracked near the steps as she was getting out of the pool. I emailed Luxury Holidays straight away of the situation and they advised that they could offer a $500 island credit and their advice was "don't use the pool".

I pushed back on this stating it wasn't good enough as we booked the place on purpose and its easier said than done to "not use the pool '' that we had paid for. A $1000 refund was offered which I accepted at the time as $1000 to us is a lot of money. As soon as we arrived home, I raised the issue again as I believed the $1000 was not enough as i read the terms and conditions on their website and they had breached a couple by not notifying us of the damage to the pool.

I am still waiting on a response from Luxury Holidays as we speak.
