Great family run local charcoal chicken shop!,not trying to re-invent the wheel just Fresh chips, crunchy salad, and tasty moist chicken. Definitely a locals spot, it can get busy but staff are effective and efficient while also being friendly. Prices are also great and the shop is VERY clean well kept. Great job

I visited a takeaway shop called Charcoal Chicken in Long Jetty around 5:30 PM on a Saturday. My friend had mentioned that it was a takeaway-only spot, and at first, I was skeptical, but it turned out to be true. There were a lot of people there, so it seems to be a popular place with the local community.

I’m a big fan of charcoal chicken, so I was naturally drawn to this place. However, the customer service left a lot to be desired. They only offer takeaway, which I found a bit disappointing. Even though they gave me a number, they didn’t seem to call it out when the food was ready, so I had to wait longer than expected.

The food didn’t live up to expectations either. I believe food like charcoal chicken tastes best when it’s fresh and hot, but by the time I got home, the food had cooled down. The prawn salad was odd—almost like it had been mixed with too much celery, and I couldn’t really tell if it was meant to be creamy or salty. It was hard to figure out what flavor it was supposed to have, and it almost felt like they expected me to add my own seasoning, like salt or mayo, to make it taste better. Overall, it wasn’t the best experience

Went here for lunch on a Monday as I had heard good things and was in the area. I got a 1/4 chicken and chips and wasn't disappointed. The chicken was cooked brilliantly and the chips were lovely as well. Staff were friendly and prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend popping in here if you are in the mood for a good charcoal chicken.

The food is really nice. Chip servings were generous to my surprise and were good soft n crunchy. I couldn't taste the charcoal in the chicken meat but on the skin I could. Deserts looked good but had no price. Price of the food was abit dear but cheaper than down the rd in the shopping centre.

The staff here are just amazing! So kind and accomodating & honestly just appreciate their customer service, the food is a bonus, tasty & just so fresh, the store is clean, this is such a great way to spend a Sunday by the park with Charcoal Chicken & chips.
