Wow, I cannot even begin to tell you how much fun we all had on Saturday for our 40th birthday! My husband and I had the best time and it more than exceeded our expectations. We are so grateful we chose to have our event at Lola. The staff were incredibly friendly, the service was amazing and the atmosphere was just fabulous! The venue itself is beyond beautiful. We wish we could do it all over again. All of our guests have been telling us how much fun it was!
Sarah and Toby were incredible on the day and were extremely friendly and accommodating. Also Courtney and Mary from the events team went above and beyond while planning our event and were always available to answer any questions.
We cannot thank the entire team enough, it was one of the best days we’ve had!

We had our baby shower at Lola. What a great venue with ample space. A highlight for me was the options available for catering in house or external/byo food. The staff were so incredibly accommodating, their service were really good and communication was great. Thank you for having us, I would highly recommend this venue!

I attended this venue on November 30 for a family event. While the location itself has potential, with a semi-outdoor area that could be charming, several issues left a sour impression. Upon arrival, the tiles were dangerously slippery due to the rain, and several people, including myself, witnessed others slipping.

During the speeches inside, the heat and humidity became unbearable. My young son was visibly uncomfortable, so I approached the bar to request a glass of water. Shockingly, the staff member denied this simple request. It was only later that I discovered there was self-service water available at the end of the bar, something she could have easily mentioned. This lack of basic courtesy was deeply disappointing.

The poor ventilation compounded the situation, creating an environment unfit for guests. I noticed the grazing table with perishable items like cheeses and wondered how safe it was in such conditions. The lack of air conditioning (or its inefficacy) soon became apparent when a young lady fainted fainted and had to be escorted out. Moments later, an elderly man also collapsed. The ambulance came soon after.

The combination of heat, humidity, alcohol, and poor ventilation was a recipe for disaster. It’s clear the management team failed to consider guest safety, both in terms of the venue’s design and their response to these conditions.

The negligence displayed by the management and the lack of empathy from the staff members are unacceptable. I hope they take these incidents as a wake-up call to improve their safety measures and staff training. P.S. Security guard was cool though.

This past weekend we had our engagement party at Lola. The venue blew my expectations out of the water. It was so beautiful! All of our guests couldn't stop telling me how amazing the space was. The bar was pumping out amazing drinks, and the venue organised for pizzas to be delivered for me.
The bar manager Jessabelle was perfect. Anything you asked for was never a problem. She responded to emails quickly and with great detail, I was able to organise the whole event seamlessly. On the night she helped in every way possible, she built serving ware for me as I forgot the tool, she set up the space ready for when I arrived, she stood on the street and waved at all blue cars until I could find her (because I am terrible at directions!) She greeted my family like they were her own and she kept the night running with no problems. The whole team worked so hard and professionally.
I could not recommend the venue, the staff and the experience with Lola more! Thank you so much for making our celebration so unforgettable. Love Bec and Rob xxx

Jessy, Audrey and the team at LOLA were amazing leading up and on the day of the event! Had my 30th at LOLA and it was the perfect venue for what I was after. Very spacious with lots of sitting areas as well as standing/dancing space, great bar service and bar staff, helpful with set up and very accomodating with bringing in our own external catering. They also let us tailor our drinks package to include everything we wanted. We had the best party at LOLA- highly recommend!

We recently had our engagement party at LOLA and all I can say is WOW what a venue!! My experience was exceptional from my initial enquiry! Courtney and Mary in the events team helped with every question and made the planning process completely stress free!!! Sarah on the night WAS AMAZING!!!!! The venue its self is just perfection! If you’re planning a party and considering LOLA don’t bother looking anywhere else! We absolutely will use the venue again!!! Thank you so much guys!!

My wife recently celebrated her 30th birthday at LOLA and had an amazing time! The venue is gorgeous and the staff are fantastic, Jessy was especially great to deal with leading up to the event and on the night. We’re already thinking of booking another event at this venue and highly recommend it to others that are looking for a special place to celebrate.
