It’s a historical place ! Amazing day trip! Such a fascinating historical site! It’s incredible to imagine how massive and powerful this blast furnace must have been when it was fully operational. Great for small picnic , photography and walk. Ample parking and general amenities are available.

After visiting the Lithgow city street and enjoyed the old heritage architecture building we explore this best historical place of oldest iron works factory. It's looks like old monuments. Intresting display board with old photos and short description gives us how was the place once looked. Very good parking place and modern toilet facilities available.Recommended this place to visit.

Interesting location to learn about the history of the place. It was used to make pig iron that was used for making steel to build the railway tracks. There’s no much left of it but there’s photos to help visualise how the place once looked. With a stop to explore. The lake pillans wetlands next to it is also worth checking out while you’re there.

Really cool historical place to visit. It's great to see just how huge this blast furnace must have been when everything was still in place

A fascinating place to wonder around. Plenty of signage explaining the location and photos of how it once looked.

Adjacent to the wetlands, has an excellent carpark, toilets, so if you're a traveller, it's also a nice quiet spot to hang out for a break.

I truly appreciate what they have done with this place. The walkways are designed well, that invite you to explore further.
It's a pity that many of the structures are not fully preserved, but the vintage photographs and informative panels scattered throughout the area are incredibly well done. They evoke a sense of history and offer a glimpse into the past, bringing the stories of this location to life.
