Amazing service. We phoned 4 minutes before lunch finished and got told they would keep the kitchen open for us to come in. My friend ordered the roast of the day and loved it. I ordered The salad bar which was fresh, creative, and full of variety even at the end of the service. The staff were super friendly. One of the chefs came out and chatted to my friend and Lia went beyond, not only did she waited on our table faultlessly, she also did a beautiful job at promoting the links hotel and growing its service.

Pleasantly surprised by the July break deal where kids can eat for just $5, with the purchase of any adult main. A generous sized kids menu choice, as well as a little salad, individual cheese portion, box of sultanas, jelly cup, Freddo Frog and a fruit box. Absolute value for money!

Wow! I never knew a place could be so poor and disgusting. I booked an overnight in a single room (and I use the term "room" in its loosest connotation ). It's little more than a single bed squeezed into an area about the size of a very small bathroom. Having said that, if all you want is a place to put your head down for a few hours I guess it would do. That is, of course, if you can put up with the fact your eyes constantly stream due to the extensive smell of piss because someone used the room as a toilet rather than use the bathroom (which is bigger than the room, I might add). The bed..... well, it's basically a single mattress thrown over a few holes where the base should be. Did I mention the smell of piss? In all honesty, it's a budget room but, even so, it would have been nice not to have had to go to the laundrette the following day to wash absolutely everything I took with me to try to get rid of the smell. I'm sure people walking past me think I'm homeless, judging by the screwed up noses and sneering looks. On a plus, the garage next door does some absolutely yummy Butter Chicken pies........|Well, save yourself some money and pay more to get a decent place to stay (pay more - equals save money washing all your clothes to stop smelling like a hobo). Wish I had read the reviews first....... lesson learnt.

Don't bother with this place. You will stand there waiting to be served, even when there is absolutely NO ONE else in the bar/ restaurant area, but you will be completely ignored. You'll walk around looking for someone to help you, all to no avail. When a staff member does eventually walk onto the floor, they'll tell you they're on a break, and that someone else will come and serve you... when a different staff member comes out, and you ask if someone could serve you, you'll be told "we're busy", and then that person walks away... All we wanted to do was order a meal, have a few drinks, you know - the usual things you might do when you're at a pub....SPEND MONEY!!! The Links Hotel couldn't care less about its customers, please don't bother with this place. Oh, and the food isn't that great anyway. Don't waste your time, or your money! Very interesting reading through the many reviews of the Links Hotel, the common theme of many of the reviews is that the service is TERRIBLE. I can confirm this to be very true - that is, if you can actually FIND a staff member willing to serve you. I live in the area, so this hotel could be described as my 'local'. I won't be back. I strongly suggest to all who read this review to STAY AWAY.

Stood in line waiting for what felt like an eternity to be served when lining up to order food. Staff either absent or walk off mid order. Same when standing at the bar to order drinks. Less than a handful of people waiting so no valid excuse for the wait.
The meals were pretty good with the exception of the links burger which was a gross wet mess.
First time diners from South of the city so no chance of returning.

We came in late and were directed to bar staff to assist. The awesome young lady from NZ was so patient, so great at her job…amazing customer service. The room was beautiful and clean, and oh my goodness how comfortable are the mattresses. No complaints of aches and pains from my heavily pregnant daughter, best nights sleep all pregnancy 😊 To top it all off a discount on the very delicious meals and two complimentary drinks ❤️ when returning the keys in the morning I met the manager of the accommodation who also had amazing customer service. Great experience!

Meals tonight were amazing, I was served by a young girl behind the bar lia, she was going above and beyond to make mine and my partners night the best. I will definitely be back when she is working next. Thank you!
