Yesterday we attended the Spring Dining event. It truly was a dining experience! Fabulous!
The staff greeted us with a warm welcome and cocktails. The service was excellent throughout the day.
The food prepared by Drew from Short Street Kitchen was sumptuous. It was well portioned and cooked to perfection. The flavours were amazing.
And Lilburndale itself was such a beautiful setting. I took some photos to share with some friends.
I can’t wait to return to Lilburndale for the next Dining Series.

My husband and I got married at Lilburndale and we love the place to bits. From the beginning of our journey with the venue, we found the experience easy and that we were in safe hands. Communication with staff was easy and we felt that we were working with people who genuinely cared about us and our vision. I appreciated connections to other local vendors as well as accommodation which meant that we could support locally too.

There were different opportunities to visit the venue from our initial walk through to an open day and a menu tasting which was very helpful during the planning process. The food is incredible and, even with a cocktail / canape style wedding dinner our guests left feeling well fed and were very happy.

On the day of our wedding we were anticipating torrential rain and while the wet weather option was not available for our date (it is on the way) we were given a couple of attractive options to make sure the show could go on. Genuinely can't recommend Felicity and Amy enough - they became real friends during the process of planning our wedding and I consistently felt that I had made the right choice.

I got married at Lilburndale many years ago when they were just starting out and even then we couldn’t fault it! The location is incredible, the place is rich in history and the eye for detail and style is next level. These days I return often in my role as a wedding celebrant and help other lucky couples have their special day there. It’s amazing to see the changes and upgrades they are continuing to make around the property, it really is spectacular. I wish we could do our wedding day all over again! The venue staff are friendly, attentive and professional and the catering by Short St Kitchen is mouth watering and delicious. You won’t be disappointed.

Where do I even start The moment we stepped onto the property at Lilburndale, we knew we HAD to get married there. Even though it’s a working farm (which is so cool in itself), the owners have left no stone unturned in making it an incredible venue. The old house, where we had our ceremony, is so beautiful and the folly for cocktail hour is just the perfect spot overlooking the whole farm - complete with bar and a beautiful fire pit for the cooler nights. The reception shed is next level. Even the bathrooms are some of the nicest I’ve ever seen! From the moment we met Felicity & Amy, they were warm and professional. Nothing I ever asked was too hard and Felicity kept me in line throughout the process, making it all so easy! I can’t recommend them enough. By our wedding day they felt like old friends, while still being super professional. I will recommend Lilburndale time and time again and can’t wait to watch and see all the things the things they do in the future! Thank you for making our wedding day everything we could have dreamed of!

Where to begin! After coming across Lilburndale a few years ago through my photography, I just knew it was where I would get married. Word's can't describe just how incredible our whole experience was having Lilburndale for our venue. From our very first meeting and discussions with Amy and Flick, I knew we were in good hands. I was blown away by how professional they were, completely understanding of how weddings run and were on top of the whole process from the beginning. The communication was excellent, they were so accomodating to all my ideas and on the day I was absolutely awestruck with just how incredible Lilburndale was. As the venue itself, it was immaculate - everything was so well presented and it was obvious just how much hard work and effort the Lilburndale team put into creating the most perfect venue. The food was something else entirely, easily some of the best food I've ever eaten and the service was amazing. And thanks to Amy and Flick for being so organised on the day, it honestly couldn't have gone smoother. I will truely never forget just how special our day was at Lilburndale and will forever be so appreciative of the team going absolutely above and beyond for us. I couldn't speak highly enough of this beautiful venue!

We had the absolute honour of getting married at this stunning historic venue on the 23.09.23. My husband and I were beyond thrilled with how the day flowed through effortlessly with the immense and incredible support and guidance of Amy and Felicity. They made our entire experience not only on the day but leading up to it, so easy and stress free answering any questions with utter kindness and understanding. The attention to detail and accomodations on the food and drink options to fit our guests wasn’t an issue and all our guests raved about how wonderful everything tasted and how good the service and atmosphere was. We cannot thank them enough as wedding planning can be stressful enough but when you go with a venue and team as genuine, caring and professional as them, you won’t have to worry for a second! Highly HIGHLY recommend! We can’t Thankyou enough for making our dream a reality and our total experience an absolute breeze!

Our wedding was held at Lilburndale and we are blown away by the amazing experience.
