Wazza and his team are great! The boat trip to Montague Island with them was heaps of fun. I highly recommend it.
The crew is friendly, knowledgeable and highly professional, including diving instructors and a marine biologist. They took care of everything so that I felt that I can just enjoy the amazing interactions with the sea lions. It's an experience of a lifetime and not to be missed. The sea lions are playful and curious and they swim right up to you and play.

I went on two separate trips, on consecutive days. I snorkeled with the sea lions on the 1st day and scuba dived on the 2nd.
Apart from the sea lions, Montague Island is a fantastic diving site. You are likely to see many Blue Gropers, Cuttle Fish and perhaps even turtles and Grey Nurse sharks. I was surprised to see that there are even some corals, despite being so far south.

Our family of 5 did the whale watching tour with Wazza. It was absolutely amazing! Wazza was a great guide and made sure we had the best experience possible. We lost count of how many whales we saw. Some came really close to the boat too which made for a breathtaking experience. We also enjoyed the “dare devil” ending and Wazza’s beats!

Amazing - The closest you will get to this many seals in the wild - great hosts Wazza and Sophie - Fantastic!
We had an amazing snorkel with the seals with hosts Wazza and Sophie, they were seasoned pros and were competent and comfortable with us and the wildlife. It only took 15 min to get to the island, Wazza took the scuba divers, while Sophie went snorkeling with the rest of us (there was about 8-10 of us that day). We saw an amazing amount of seals, who were curious of us and would swim right up to us (and all around us). We did two 1hr snorkels (some people went on the island, but were glad we went for the second snorkel - even more amazing than the first.) We also saw dolphins from the boat, and seals swimming with dolphins. We were initially booked on the 8am, but Wazza contacted us to reschedule for the 11:30 which turned out to be better conditions that day (so best plan to be flexible). The water was the clearest crystal i have seen. Highly recommend this tour.

Wow!! Such an amazing & unforgettable close encounter experience swimming with seals around Montague Island. My husband and I will treasure these memories and look forward to going back there again! Wazza & his team were fantastic and very knowledgeable - we thoroughly recommend booking with Wazza!

Awesome dive spot at Montague Island and Lighthouse Charters with Wazza are super awesome and friendly.

Guys got nice simple boar, warm soup on board, snaky gums and comfy seats!

Chance to see whales and very high chance of dolphins swimming with you on the way!

Lobsters, crayfish, tons and tons of seals and sea full of fish around! If you go around the corner you can also see plenty of port Jackson sharks and eggs as well!

Our tour was the MONTAGUE ISLAND NPWS Guided Discovery Tour & SEAL SNORKELLING COMBO. It was well worth the wait. Although our tour on first 2 bookings was cancelled due to weather and sea conditions, third time lucky. The weather was outstanding and the adventure even more so. The experience was surreal. Such an amazing place to visit with spectacular sites and the seals were so comfortable around us.
The equipment provided by the team was of high quality making the experience even better. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and comfortable with the experience making it all so personable. Thanks to Wazza, Karen and Tash who were the main staff helping us on the day, however there were plenty of other staff around that were all playing their part to keep things rolling. An absolute must for the bucketlist.

I would just like to say for those who have a booking cancelled don't be disappointed - rebook for another time because the cancellation is ideally for the safety of all.

Such an amazing experience with Wazza and his team to swim with seals at Montague Island!!! We had young children and they made sure they were warm enough, had floatation devices and safety was a priority. All the crew were lovely, they did a detour to do some en route whale watching and were keen to answer all our questions. Must do for Narooma!

Done 2 dives with this amazing team, Jason is fantastic and really looks after our divers! At the end of each dive, we got to snorkel, and seals are active and curious, got really close the entire time. A must if in Narooma, provided the right season.
