Where do I start. Firstly, we spent half our time standing in line to get a drink. Secondly, the people behind the bar were so aggressive and so on edge, it made us uncomfortable.

When I asked the older lady with brown hair, raybans sunglasses and a black singlet what mixers they offered with the vodka, she responded with “basic spirits”. Assuming she must have misheard me, I asked the same question again. She proceeded to SHOUT ‘BASIC SPIRITS!’, giving me a disgusting expression like I had somehow terribly offended her. I was shocked, and ended up just asking for a basic beer so I could get out of the bar and away from her. When she eventually realised she had misheard me (or perhaps she doesn’t know what mixers are), she began listing the mixers they offered like nothing had happened. I wanted to cry.

Later on, my friends told me they had a similar experience when ordering at the bar. One guy the bartenders refused to serve because he asked what beers they offered - claiming he must be too intoxicated to ask that. Another guy they refused to serve because he pointed at the beer he wanted while requesting it - the bartender also managed to get so offended by this, he said something along the lines of ‘I’m not your monkey’. It seemed to me that these bartenders were not suited to work in hospitality (let alone on a boat), and frankly, probably woke up that morning, ready to attack anyone who didn’t meet their expectations of being a ‘perfectly polite customer’. May I add that 99% of the people on the boat had english as their second language, and were certainly not trying to be rude or offensive. I can guarantee that if the crew had been aware of something called a language barrier - or perhaps even a thing or two about cultural differences and patience - their lives would have been less miserable. I’d also like to say that some of the security guards and other crew members were very nice. You won’t be seeing me again though…

I had my 21st on the Aussie Legend and I couldn't recommend these guys more! Chris, Theo and the staff onboard were amazing and made it a fantastic night for all. The BBQ buffet was beautiful. Great value for money and they were super customisable to what i wanted for the party. Everything was hassle free and they took care of everything for us. If you're looking for a harbour cruise on a beautiful boat then these guys are the way to go
