We hired Lauren as our first step before doing any wedding planning, and from start to finish she was amazing. Lauren was extremely on top of everything, helping us find the perfect venue, recommending choices of great vendors, managing all kinds of issues from vendor communication to wedding-related family stress, making an extremely detailed timeline that kept everything on track on the day, and being a calm manager/coordinator on the day so we didn't have to worry about anything. She is extremely experienced and was always there to pick up the slack when we were getting too busy in our own lives to do so. Besides that, she is an awesome person who is fun to talk to and down to earth. We're so glad we chose Lauren and would recommend her to anyone!

As someone trying to stay to a semi-reasonable budget for a wedding I was skeptical whether a planner would be worth the additional cost. I can say now, Lauren and LCR Events are 100% worth every penny. We could not have planned a wedding without her. Lauren is one of the most thorough, organized, detail oriented people I have ever met. At many moments during the process she lent clear guidance about what works and what doesn't and each time we were so thankful that we followed her suggestions. My husband and I got married on August 13, 2022 and the day was an absolute dream thanks to our amazing coordinator, Lauren! When we first got engaged, I knew we'd need so major help with the planning process. We hired Lauren as a Day of Coordinator but she went above and beyond throughout the entire process. She kept contracts organized, assisted with communication with vendors, and kept us on track. Lauren was always available to meet in person or virtually. She is INCREDIBLY responsive and would answer all of our questions within moments of us sending them. Lauren is the most organized and professional event planner I have ever met. I have worked alongside and met many professionals who plan weddings, corporate events, and large sporting events and I can say no one I have ever come across compares to Lauren.

She made our wedding seamless. From her organization, to her countless phone conversations reassuring us that things would run smoothly, there was not a bump in the planning at all. Lauren handled every single situation with a calm, collected manner, which is something I personally needed as I have an autoimmune disorder and couldn't be as hands on as I wanted to be. She handled the vendors and made sure we didn't have to worry about a thing.

Lauren made sure everything leading up to our big day was taken care of (even meeting me at my house to collect everything for the venue the day before our wedding).

On our actual wedding day, Lauren and her staff could not have been more helpful. We even had to make a last minute "location" change at the venue due to the weather and the guests did not know at all.

If you are contemplating whether or not to hire a wedding planner, let this be your sign that Lauren and her team are 1000% worth it. Lauren was referred to my wife and I by a close friend who recently worked with her for their own wedding. Prior to our friends referral, we really had not even consider the thought of hiring a planner since our venue provided us with a day of bridal attendant. However, after speaking with Lauren and realizing what her services entailed and her extensive experience in the industry, there was no doubt in our minds that we needed to hire her. Lauren is extremely responsive and organized. Though we hired her for “day of coordination” she was really so much more than that. She was there along the way for over a year leading up to our wedding for literally anything wedding related we needed. Her timeline for the day was spot on - it’s only been one week since our wedding and numerous guests have reached out to us saying it was one of the most beautiful weddings they’ve been to in years! It's been almost a year since my wedding and I still rave about Lauren to anyone I can when the subject of wedding planning comes up. If I can recommend one thing to any bride it's this - hire a day-of coordinator. And make sure it's Lauren and her company LCR events. I kid you not, I had not a single worry the day my wedding came. I enjoyed every moment. Lauren was meticulous in planning, maintaining communications with all vendors hired up to the event, writing out a run of show for the entire day, handling the payment and tips, confirming with the vendors and the venue the items they would need for set up, making sure everyone moved at the right time and that the day went exactly as we planned and I envisioned. And that is just what I knew about - I can't even begin to imagine what she made run behind the scenes that I didn't even have to worry about. One example? On my flight to our honeymoon my husband laughed and told me that our wedding cake was orange at first. Orange?! Apparently the baker had made a mistake and brought the right cake but decorated wrong. At this time I had been getting ready for the wedding. Lauren didn't bother me. She never mentioned it. I didn't even know this was happening. She sent one text to my husband: confirming your cake should not be orange? He said nope definitely not. And she said she'd take care of it. I knew none of this until my husband mentioned it to me. Somehow Lauren got the baker back to the venue and my cake was decorated in brilliant white with flowers just as we originally planned. She's just remarkable and hiring her was the best decision we made. Thank you Lauren!!!
