I can't say enough about this friendly, rustic, incredible adventure package. Our expectations have been greatly met! All the staff is amazing, helpful and friendly. A special nod to Deacon and Adrian. These two are the best guides you could ask for. Knowledgeable, passionate, and so much fun! They know what they are doing and share it with you. We have such a love for Churchill because of our experiences at Lazy Bear Lodge. Food is plentiful and yummy. Staff are so kind and helpful. Strongly recommend this for your northern adventure ?

We loved staying here! Alex was amazing! We had him for all of our tours and think he is just the best! He gave us a lot of information. My boyfriend Bobby didn't fit into the wet suits since he is a bigger guy so he just went for a ride-along for kayaking and aqua gliding with Alex. They had a great time talking and Bobby still loved his time on the water! We also loved our server Sage! She got all of our orders right and was very attentive. The restaurantant is pretty expensive but we liked everything we had. Since we stayed at the hotel the morning chef always told me what I could and could not eat and then gave me some gluten-free bread for breakfast! We also met Faith on the train ride up and she is now working in house keeping and killing it! We hope we can come back againn The beluga whales and polar bears are absolutely amazing! Thank you Lazy Bear!

We had such a great time staying at the Lodge and seeing some of the sights of Churchill. Thank you Wally, Dawn and Lazy Bear family for being so hospitable. And our guides Deacon (Wally’s son), Adrian, and Alex for being awesome! The sleeping arrangements were clean and comfortable and the food was incredible! One of the best experiences of our lives and a memory for many years to come!

Had the most amazing time in Churchill this last week. We stayed and toured with the Lazy Bear and had a fabulous time. Got to see so many belugas on the zodiac boat and kayaking and even a polar bear. If your planning a trip to Churchill I definitely recommend the Lazy Bear. It's a beautiful place to stay, the restaurant is fantastic and the tour guides were amazing. Thank you so much for making our trip to Churchill memorable ?

Just back from a few days stay at the Lazy Bear Lodge. It’s a great place full of character.

The staff working at the lodge couldn’t be more helpful. The included breakfast buffet was plentiful and the evening meals whilst expensive were super tasty and worth the money in my opinion.

I did their two day beluga whale tour. Heritage part was interesting and the going out on the rib boats and seeing hundreds of belugas feeding was incredible! Deacon is a brilliant guide and clearly knows his stuff.

There one an awful lot to do in Churchill outside the tours but it’s an interesting place with a real sense of community.

There’s plenty of other accommodation in town but tbh some looked a bit sketchy so I would totally recommend booking Lazy Bear Lodge. I’ll definitely be back!

Well organized tours, guides smile very wide but know next to nothing about the area. The brightest highlight is a big ship and its captain. The lodge itself is well looking but quite uncomfortable to live in. One single-sit toilet gives problems on the checkout day when has to be shared by a crowd.

We booked a Beluga whale tour package with Lazy Bear lodge and it included two nights stay and breakfast as well. We were also provided pick and drop from the train station upon arrival and departure which definitely was a plus. We had a pretty good time at the lodge and all the tours provided by them (cultural and heritage tour of Churchill, Prince of Wales Fort tour, Beluga whale watching on zodiac boat) were good as well. One of the major advantage of staying at the lodge was the in-house café. We never had to worry about venturing out for food. The food is delicious and lots of variety on the menu. The lodge is nice and cozy and well kept. The staff was warm and friendly. All in all the experience was worth the price. I will stay again.
