Well updated country pub, maintaining its charm with Indoor and outdoor sitting. Service was good. My husband had the chicken schnitzel which he said was pretty good. I had the mussels and they were really yummy. Loved the roti to soak up delish sauce.

We went to visit this pub hoping for a good meal we were disappointed big time. We had a better meals at other pubs in warburton unfortunately we won’t be coming back at all.

My recent visit to the Launching Place Hotel restaurant was an absolute disappointment from start to finish. The service was appalling—practically non-existent. We arrived with two young children and asked if they had a high chair. Instead of assisting us, the waitress, Amy, simply pointed us in the direction of the high chairs and expected us to get one ourselves. How lazy and inconsiderate can you be when customers walk in with small children?

If the food had been good, I might have overlooked the poor service, but it was just as bad. I ordered the lamb shoulder, which was more like a fatty piece of mutton than lamb. It was covered in at least 100g of fat, making it nearly inedible. The entire meal was a letdown, and the lack of care from the staff made it even worse.

This was my last visit to the Launching Place Hotel restaurant. I strongly advise others to stay away and drive a bit further to find a better dining experience.

Had a birthday party here over the weekend & everything was phenomenal! The atmosphere outside in the beer garden was great & it was so nice and warm with the heaters on.
The staff put the footy on the Tv for us & were accommodating with any requests.
All of the 20 something meals came out fast & were delicious.
Highly recommend, will definitely be back regularly

Pretty good! This pub has been on my to do list for a while. Lovely fire, well presented food, service with a smile & a great outdoor area.

Waited over an hour and 20 minutes for our meals. Two came out, then 20 minutes later the rest of the meals came out (table of eight.) Small parmas came in a bowl - very hard to cut and eat. Ordered medium steak and was underdone and cold. Mushroom sauce was more like soy sauce. Disappointing Mother’s Day.

Great pub and good food. Situated at the intersection on Warburton Highway with the road to Healesville (22kms) heading north. Been here several times and the menu is good. Today, our lunch highlight was the halloumi fries-beautifully done and seven broad halloumi chips to a serve. For mains, the chilli caramel pork belly with rice and greens; and, the mussels in a green chilli broth with two pieces of roti. Mains were very nice. The hamburgers here are amazing and very generous and very popular.
Ice cold beer Stone and Wood, Great Northern and HH on tap with others. A couple of Aperol Spritzes were generous and the bar lady showed that she knows her stuff. A shared desert of almond cake with gin soaked strawberries and chantilly cream…absolutely delicious.

Today is Saturday and the car park was full, and the beer gardens were pretty full too, and are a nice place to be on a warm day. But inside dining also has a good atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful.

A country pub worth a visit; and we will be back. Many thanks.

We held a get together for a large group, following a funeral. The staff were amazing, supportive and super helpful at a challenging time for the family. Food was really special and we sat down to select options from the menu. The slow cooked lamb was a big hit. Fancy coffees, drinks and desserts were superb and appreciated. This is such a great pub and the team make it an asset for the area. On behalf of the family, thanks so much!!!
