We had a special occasion lunch in the dining room today and the service was the most attentive and welcoming I’ve had in a long time, with a big thank you to Zoe -- super observant and accommodating, with a warm and relaxed way about it. She was exceptional!
The food wasn’t outstanding for me, but another at the table said it was “the best fish” they’ve ever had (Kingfish Collars). With that said, they very clearly use premium produce and that does come through. I’d come back again to try something else, as the service really was that impressive.

Veal schnitzel, one of their most popular dishes, never fails to be awesome. Beef carpaccio, grilled scallops & pork belly, crispy eggplant - all made for an excellent meal. A wine list (a book actually) ensures all preferences are met, with sage advice to match. Ice cream/sorbet enjoyed before pic was remembered. Great friendly professional service. Wheelchair access to building, within & bathroom well catered for. Definitely a place for an outstanding experience.

Listen up everyone because if you haven’t been to this place before then it’s a call to book a table and give a try!!
The food is absolutely delicious!
The flavors were perfectly balanced and the presentation was stunning.
Of course the service was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed despite being busy. Highly recommend this place for a memorable dining experience!

Absolutely sublime dining experience! The setting is very beautiful in the dining room, and the service was excellent with friendly staff. I ordered the 300g scotch fillet, and it was the most delicious steak I have ever eaten. Also ordered a side of chat potatoes and they were incredible. My friend ordered the octopus for the entree, and the red duck curry for a main and he equally loved his food too. A 10/10 experience. Cannot wait to come back!

It was my birthday dinner with a surprise visit from my carnivore son. The steak was the best dish for the evening. It was a 1.1 Kg rib eye on the bone that was cooked to perfection. The 3 sauces that came with it , all were really really nice. Pepper, Diane and Red wine reduction. The service was attentive and friendly. All in all, very happy

Service a bit hit and miss. Staff were friendly enough and busy but difficult to get hold of when you wanted to ask a question or order food. The starters came out quick enough but the mains were slow.

Sat at a nice corner table with chairs on one side and couch on the other. Wasn't too noisy which was nice.

As for food, see descriptions below:

Oysters - Sydney Rock Oyster type so tiny and an absolute rip off at $7 each.

Octopus - quite nice and tasty but you don't get much for $30.

Scallops - odd combination being served with pork belly. Were tasty but hard to find the actual scallops as so small and hidden below the pork.

Bucatini & bugs - not much in the way of seafood so was a bit disappointing. Pasta nicely done. Wouldn't order again.

Veal Schnitzel - this is the only dish where you are remotely close to getting value for money. Large portion size and I could only eat half of it so was given a takeaway container which was nice.

Red Duck Curry - this was deconstructed so had to pull apart the bird to eat it and it was a bit of a mess to be honest. Too much effort when you go out and pay $48 for a meal. Wouldn't order again.

A top ten Melbourne pub, it’s been fancied up and the food is boujee so be aware but I guess you’d expect that in albert park/s. Melbourne . Dog friendly outside. Just an awesome neighbourhood hotel . Don’t blame the fanciness on the venue blame the multimillion dollar home evaluation in the area.

I was there last Friday in a group of four. It was a busy Friday night so it took a while for our orders to be taken but everything was fine until we asked for some mustards to go with our steak. When serving us the mustard the server knocked repeatedly on my wife's plate with the serving spoon to get the mustard on her plate and when it comes to my turn she did the same. I find it extremely rude behaviour but did not raise a scene then. This spoilt an otherwise good dining experience.
