Every thing was great, staff lovely.
The room was neat and great view. Unfortunately our room was next to people that were night owls came home at 3am, no regard for anyone else, walls paper thin, found it very difficult to sleep. Wont stay here gain too noisy. Ashame, nice place.

Let me start by saying the most exceptional staff at the Lakes Hotel were actually the housekeeping team. Every interaction with them was pleasant, and most went out of their way to say hello and good morning. A few front desk attendants seemed cheerful as well. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff gave off the vibe that their favourite pet goldfish had just died the night before.

The rooms are nice, with lovely views. While the hallway carpets look a bit ruined, don’t let that fool you. Our only real issue was a broken smoke detector cover, which left a bright green light shining in the room at night. Maintenance promptly put some tape over it when we requested help, but it didn’t really solve the problem, definitely something that needs a proper fix.

The complimentary daily breakfast is an excellent addition to the stay.

The pool and spa area are decent and in good condition, very quiet and pleasant to visit on weekdays.

I was however charged for my food service bill twice. While it was promptly resolved after I called the hotel, it’s still a pretty big oversight to see an extra $250+ charge pop up on your card ten hours after you’ve already paid and checked out.

With better staff interactions and billing competence, I could've overlooked the rest and called this a four-star stay, but as it stands, there’s alot of room for improvement.

We had a really lovely stay here and would absolutely come back. Austin at reception was brilliant – friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.

We stayed in an executive suite and it was so worth it. Spacious, clean, and the spa bath was a real highlight – perfect for a soak after a day out exploring. The bed was super comfortable too, one of the best we’ve had in a hotel in a long time.

Breakfast was included with our booking and it was genuinely excellent – not your typical buffet but a proper sit-down menu with fresh, tasty options. A really nice way to start the day.

We had planned to try a Peruvian restaurant but unfortunately it was closed the night we waned to go there, so we opted for a meal at the hotel pub instead. The vibe was nice and relaxed, and while the portions were generous, the food was a bit hit and miss – the chicken were slightly overcooked and the tacos could’ve done with a sauce to bring it all together but hubby loved his roast. Not a dealbreaker by any means, just something to note.

All in all, a great experience – lovely staff, comfortable rooms, and a peaceful atmosphere. Would definitely recommend for a weekend away or a relaxing stopover.

Room was neat and tidy. Dinner was lovely. Breakfast was disgraceful. We had the big breakfast. Bacon was thickly cut and not cooked, the fat was still raw. Tomato wasn't cooked at all. It was half a tomato just placed on your plate. Was asked by the waiter what we thought of the breakfast. I asked if I could be honest, he replied yes of course. I said it was the worse cooked breakfast I have ever had. He apologised and said he would let the chef and his manger know. I saw him approach a manager, he was telling him, manager shrugged his shoulders and walked off. Staff were very pleasant and easy to deal with. Would not recommend breakfast at this venue

Great place to stay in Adelaide! The rooms were great and the restaurant and I house hotel are really good.
Can't speak highly enough of the team there as well. I left some clothes behind when I left. They called me to let me know then helped me get them back. Helena was fantastic!

Mother's day choice at the Lakes Resort was a good one.
Staff were delightful, food was served promptly and the atmosphere was great.
My desert chosen was the mango, passion fruit, raspberry cheesecake.
It was ABSOLUTELY the BEST choice ever. Unforgettable in fact.
You must try it!!

Great hotel with excellent service! The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and comfortable — exactly what we needed for a relaxing stay. We had a fantastic time, and the kids especially loved the spa and swimming pool — they couldn’t get enough of it!

The breakfast was a highlight of our stay. We looked forward to it every morning, and it did not disappoint. The quality was truly 5-star, with a wide variety of delicious options. The dining room staff were professional, friendly, and consistently upheld a high standard throughout our 4-day stay.

This hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. My kids have already declared that this is where we’ll be staying on our next trip to Adelaide — no questions asked. Well done to the entire team and management for creating such a memorable experience!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at West lakes in March. Corina and her team we're extremely organised, helpful and helped make it a stress free experience.
The venue is beautifully presented and the views of the lake are stunning.
Everyone who attended had an amazing time. Could not wish for a better day and would highly recommend this venue for weddings and other events.
