My partner and I were on our way home to Melbourne from Swan Hill. We just randomly found this place for dinner because we saw the rating in google and also saw the photo that they serve steak. I found the green peppercorn sauce for the steak was absolutely fantastic. The peppercorn flavour is strong enough that you know it’s pepper sauce. I know a lot of places stuff it up. The salads in the dishes are very nice and fresh, unlike the soggy soft and disgusting one in the supermarket. Gluten free option for fisherman basket is also good. You know it’s hard to find gluten free fish and chips or seafood baskets etc., not to mention to find a good one.

Food was amazing. I had the garlic prawns and it was not short on prawns and my husband had the pork belly with seared scallops.
I would recommend this hotel to any one.

Back to their brilliant best with their current menu for Winter. Had the Middle Eastern style Lamb Shoulder. It would be one of the best meals I have ever experienced. Meat was falling apart tender, and what is very unusual these days it was accompanied by 5 different vegetables. Pumpkin, peas, potatoes, Dutch carrots and beetroot, all perfectly spiced. The inclusion of the beetroot was a masterstroke.
Service was quick and efficient, including the complementary jug of water.
I know that their menu has to change with the seasons but personally I prefer the winter menu over their summer one. It's still good but the winter one is exceptional.

Staff were friendly, food was so delicious. All 5 of us really enjoyed our meals. Excellent menu to choose from. Music wasn't loud, we could have a conversation without shouting at each other. Will definitely be back

Best prawn and mussel pasta I’ve had in ages. The fettuccine was clearly fresh and so so tasty. It was a lovely and warm atmosphere. I can’t want to come back next time.

**Amazing Experience at Lake View Hotel, Bendigo!**

I had the pleasure of visiting the Lake View Hotel, and I must say, the experience was fantastic. The staff were super nice, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxing night out.

The drinks were awesome, with a great selection to choose from. I ordered the 300g Scotch filet, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor – definitely a must-try for any steak lover!

My friend had the Prawn & Chorizo Fettuccine, and they loved it. The dish was well-prepared, with a great balance of flavors. It was both nice and incredibly yummy.

Highly recommend this place if you're in Bendigo!

Food was good with an extensive menu that catered for everyone on our table. Service was prompt and courteous with good attention to detail, given we had a person who had some strict dietary requirements. The ambience of the setting was great for what we needed. Overall a very pleasant setting.
