Julie Pringle is an absolute legend of a tour guide - I did four tours - Yes 4 - did two Star Gazing and one each sun rise and sun set. She’s very knowledgeable, certainly knows all the cool spots to take great photos! Highly recommend her tours! I plan o be back in July / August - apparently that’s the best time to come!!

We had the option to change our Sunset tour to the next morning for the Sunrise tour, due to the weather, it was worth the wait, Julie the tour guide is a wealth of knowledge and took us to a part of the lake, that was worth the walk for the spectacular photos, a memorable visit to Lake Tyrell.

Julie's vast knowledge of Lake Tyrrell and surrounding areas is astonishing. LTT will take you to areas and views normally unknown and unseen by the general public.

Along with the Accommodation, A1 Sea Lake Silo Art (villa) that sleeps 10 max, offer great tour/accommodation packages.

Relax on the front porch directly in silos view or watch the newly installed video projected info on the Silos.

I feel obliged to share my experience and add my voice to those who have had a negative experience with Julie. This is the first time I’m providing a negative review on a service provider. I paid $330 for 3 photography tours and was only provided 1. And I’m very generous here because the tour I was given can hardly qualify as a photography tour. It ended up at a time that suited Julie (rather me), being shown potential sites from a distance in a rush and without leaving her car. All this wrapped up in a little more than an hour.
She later offered to refund the cost of 2 tours but this never happened. I suspect she just wanted to keep me quiet until such time I leave Sea Lake without any real intention to do so. Many emails and texts later but all my attempts have failed.
I’m now reduced to dispute the payment through my bank. Julie must believe her customers are stupid and an easy source of cash.
She epitomises the kind of experience people visiting Sea Lake do not wish to have. Very regrettable

Julie looked after us really well on our sunset tour. She took us out to the lake, to the best spot according to the conditions at the time. We found the lake itself and the surroundings very interesting. We like natural phenomena. Even though the evening was quite cloudy Julie helped us get some great photos which we wouldn’t have done by ourselves. If you do the tour, make sure you hire some gumboots too (or bring your own)- then you won’t have to worry about getting your shoes wet and salty.

Great sunset tour with Julie Pringle of Sea Lake - wouldn't have been able to get to the place on my own, the viewing platform doesn't do the lake justice. Julie also has some nice accomodation available for those needing to stay overnight.

We intended to do a guided starlight tour with Julie today, but the weather got in the way. We had to cancel last minute but Julie was very accomodating and issued a full refund. She was very nice from booking to cancellation and despite us not getting to enjoy the tour as planned, we strongly suggest you give it a shot.
