The resort is located very near to the lake, literally a walk away, there are boat ramps as well. Hume dam is also very near. Great place to observe stars at night. Cottages are good with all cooking facilities, hot water & air cons, family and children friendly.

Everything about this place is wonderful. I’m partly disabled, I sent a message a few hours before I arrived telling them I was experiencing a lot of pain in my legs. They rang me straight away,, changed my booking to a disabled room and offered to put down a mattress on the floor for my daughter. When i arrived the receptionist was very friendly and sympathetic, absolutely lovely lady. She explained the best place to park so I didn’t need to walk very far and said she was there to help…so lovely. When I got to my room they’d already popped the air conditioner on and everything was lovely and clean. What a beautiful place to stay. So peaceful and the lake is such a picturesque delight. I highly recommend this place.

Extremely noisy air conditioner in motel room 17.|The problem was room 17 Motel room airconditioner.|The aircon sounded like a very loud truck. It was only 2 degrees overnight so needed the aircon on. Couldn’t keep it on as the sound was horrendous. Unfortunately noone at reception to complain to and phone goes unanswered.|We were booked for 2 nights and left after 1 night. Such a shame.

Handy for overnight stopover with convenient key pickup/drop-off system. Quiet and beautiful location on Lake Hume.Basic rooms, heater/aircon due for an upgrade.

We booked 2 nights online several weeks in advance and received an email a few days prior to checking in to explain where the keys were if we arrived after hours, because, clearly, finding those keys was the key to our hearts. On check-in, the lady was absolutely lovely, but then we discovered that the restaurant and bar had closed down, which was a shock as that was the whole planned trip to celebrate our wedding anniversary and relax, because what's a romantic getaway without a little dramatic flair and a growling stomach? We had received no notice prior to arrival, and with shops 10kms away, after being on the motorbike for 6 hours in 37-degree heat, the last thing we needed was a trip back to town to find some actual food and a cold beverage, because, you know, love is all about suffering together.

We stayed in two different rooms over 10 days.

2 bedroom cottage (#34) - Below average and super dated. Everything was awkward and uncomfortable from the beds/pillows to the bathroom configuration with the toilet across the room by the laundry. The main bathroom bathtub shower combo was odd - bathtub was narrow and the bottom wasn’t flat so when you stand under the shower your feet are half up the side.

Family motel room - the bathroom was updated and nicer than the cabin but the room was pretty tight.

Wifi non existent in the cabin. Go to the pub and connect to their STARLINK if you need to get online. You won’t get it in your room!

Having an aircon, kitchen and laundry was great.

Unless you are looking to stay by the lake for water activities, I would suggest staying elsewhere.

Apparently, the cabins are individually owned and maybe we got stuck with the lemon - who knows but the owners could make it a bit nicer.

Overall, we would not return but it is convenient with the pub (food average too), pool and tennis court (hard court is super fast) on site. It’s about 15 min to Albury and 20 min to Wodonga so a bit further out.

great location, right at the lake hume and easy access to the lake for a swim or water activities. air conditioner a bit dated and could made some noise. other than that we enjoyed the stay.
