Hidden gem in Weetangara shops. The most authentic Biryani, Nihari & Karahi Chicken we have tried out of all the restaurants in Canberra.

Perfect blend of spices and aroma, most places overkill the chilli and use artificial colours but these dishes were clearly slow-cooked to achieve the tender perfection.

Cherry on top was courteous chit-chat with the humble owner and not even 10 minute wait-time.

I’m definitely going back again next week!

My recent visit to this restaurant was not only disappointing but also disheartening, considering its representation of Pakistani cuisine in Canberra.
The restaurant's dirty plates were a big turn-off. It's not just about bad-tasting food; the lack of cleanliness raised serious concerns. Think twice before inviting anyone the lack of cleanliness not only disappoint but also bring a sense of shame.

I recently dined at Lahori Gate in Canberra, and it was an amazing experience. Being quite selective about food, I was initially unsure, but Lahori gate completely won me over.

Went to Lahori Gate tonight with my family and friends. The food and drinks we had were very tasty and enjoyable - especially the samosa chaat and chicken biryani, they were absolutely amazing. The staff was super friendly as well - they gave really good recommendations and made sure the food suited our spice tolerance. Definitely will come back to try other dishes, thank you for the exceptional food and services!
