The bridge gives you access to the Lachlan River Walking Trail. You can certainly feel this bridge move as you walk over it.
What a great place to take the dog for a walk, plenty of interpretive signs on the 1200m walking trail once over the bridge.
The bird life was amazing, so many Galahs, a Heron, Kingfisher.
The ground was soft due to the amount of rain but not too bad. Totally surrounded by the river so it could easily flood.

Stayed at the caravan park over night then visited the swing bridge next morning. Beatiltiful, I'll tet th pictures tell the story.

Nice spot for a sit and eat. The walking track was closed, probably because the river us rising. Close to toilets and good parking.

This might be a small suspension bridge but combined with the short walking trail (1200m) this is a lovely thing to include while in Hillston.
