We ended up dining at La Vera last night after a disappointing and rude encounter with staff at the RSL—and what an amazing decision it was!

Our group of eight was seated in a quiet, cozy spot and warmly welcomed by the lovely young man at the counter. We ordered a variety of pizzas, pasta, risotto, and more, and they happily catered to one of our guests who required gluten-free options.

The young staff member who served us was incredibly helpful, polite, and kind. We were all genuinely impressed—he showed such professionalism and hospitality, we wondered if it might be his first job!

The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions and plenty of leftovers to take home. We’ll definitely all be coming back. Beautiful food and a beautiful experience 🙂

First time ordering pizza here - went of reviews which all seemed pretty good - lovely young man that took phone order and greeted me when I picked up pizza- but that's about it. Ordered the prawn and pig pizza and garlic bread - the pizza was honestly the worst pizza I have ever ever had. Tiny dry hardly any prawns - bacon not cooked properly, just a whole lot of glugy cheese - that was it . Unfortunately too far to drive back . Seriously- pick your game up - just shows you can't rely on reviews to pick a place. Will most definitely not be returning.

The pizza (vegitarian) was ok. It took 30 minutes to come out. Also no plates or servietes came out. We wanted to have some beer downstairs but apparently that wasn't possible. I won't return.

Best pizza I’ve had in a very long time! 10/10 recommend to anyone who wants a real pizza with toppings you can actually see covering the whole thing and so much flavour, was delicious for our dinner last night!

Food was ok, service from teenagers who either didn't know the job well or didn't really want to be there.
Hot night & we had to ask for the aircon to be put on in the seating area. No one came to check if we needed water or anything for our meal.

Very clean and well maintained restaurant the has a small but intimate eat in area offers inside and outside tables.
Diverse menu that offers something for all tastes.
Garlic pizza was amazing and the pizza we chose was absolutely delicious.
It had actual topping with real Flavours.
It was a real treat
