Outstanding Restaurant,
Service is excellent , super helpful and professional , food is served as contemporary twist on Mexican cuisine, it was full of flavour , presented well plus to finish the dessert was delicious.
Also has a superb cocktail list , consisting of great margaritas..
The question I always as myself is “would I go again ?” .. answer is ABSOLUTELY..

Outstanding service and phenomenal food! Explosion of flavours! Never imagined lamb or prawn tacos- surprised! They were indescribable!! So was the fresh fish tostada de pescado! You gotta have them! Best Mexican I’ve ever had!!

*BEST BARBACOA TACOS( lamb ) I have tried outside my country, the taste, the texture, the flavour; even the broth were phenomenal. HAND MADE CORN TORTILLA was a dream for myself. Corn chips with guacamole are amazing, The snapper tostada with salsa macha was wonderful.
The Michellada, was great, perfect balance between the tomato juice, the spiciness and the lime juice.
The ingredientes were fresh.
The ambiance looks like and made me feel like an old mexican house.?
About the service, the girls were really kind, warm and welcoming.

As a Mexican I recommend this place 100% and of course I will come back later.

The best Mexican in ALL of Australia. Coming from Southern California (and conditioned to amazing mexican food), this place gets my tick of approval. Proper authentic Mexican food with high quality ingredients. I can’t believe I hadn’t tried la casita sooner! Everything we ate was exceptional! Homemade corn tortillas were a stand out, and the mezcal selection was an added bonus.

This amazing Mexican restaurant was so delicious it totally benchmarked me. Originally from Sydney I’ve travelled the world and was blown away by their delicious food, cocktails and friendly service. If you’re ever in the area please make sure you visit the awesome restaurant.

Update, Match 2024: as good as when I last visited. Original review: I'm so envious of the locals who have easy access to this gem! Everything was standout excellent and the staff are all lovely. The stuffed fresh jalapenos were delicious, as was the char-grilled corn, and I'm so glad the waitress suggested the char-grilled lamb tacos when I couldn't decide between them or the Pork Carnitas! The margaritas were excellent, too.

Amazing food. You can taste and see that someone knows their stuff. The homemade drinks were also great.
Just wish there would be three tacos in a serving instead of two as we all left still a bit hungry but already blew our budget.

We had the most delightful dinner experience here! Everything from the booking, to information on the indoor/outdoor seating, to the actual dining experience was just perfect. It is clear that the owners and the staff have a genuine passion for food & service and it really shows in the beautiful experience that they provide! We had a number of seafood dishes and it was all really fresh and bursting with flavour. I can't recommend this place enough!
