Mixed emotions about La Carretta.
The positive points are this place has been around for as long as I can remember (more than 20 years)  in Cherrybrook, then moved to West Pennant Hills.
The pizzas are lovely with lots of mozzarella cheese that just pull apart stringy when the pizzas are hot 🔥!
A wide range of toppings. One of our favourite pizza toppings to order is the Hawaiian pizza and the Prima Vera pizza! 🤤

The pear and rocket salad from the special menu was made well. However, some of the rocket was yellow! There was also too much balsamic vinegar - (maybe this is a personal preference, but the rocket was swimming in the dressing!)

There was someone else's hair on the red and white checkered table top! Furthermore, we had to ask for a clean glass.

A different time that we visited La Carretta, 1 person from our dining group had a dirty fork!!

Lastly, the ordering system has changed to a QR scan with menu displayed on the phone. It was actually nice to talk to someone to clarify any information (especially new specials). It was awkward to have to raise my hand to ask the waitstaff questions when they could've been there to take our order anyway!

We have been to La Carretta many times and even though the service from the staff is good overall, usually with a smile and we like the pizzas, we were a bit disappointed by the cleanliness!

We took our out of town guests to La Caretta because we know we will never be disappointed. The food, service and atmosphere is always great. They accommodated our special needs person with love and made him an extra special pasta and dessert (should have taken a photo but we were too busy having a great catch up). Thank you for aways being a great night out.

Absolutely amazing Italian Restaurant. The food was so authentic, delicious and very generous portions. The service was friendly and true authentic Italian hospitality from the moment we arrived until when we left. Special touches included a candle on the tiramisu to sing happy birthday. Lots of locals were dining there and I can see why. We will definitely be back! Good sign when the restaurant is full on a Tuesday night. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Great place, fabulous staff and large servings of hot truly authentic Italian food. Pity the Google website didn't advise the owners of our booking..especially as we had received an email confirmation. The staff recovered instantly and set up for the large party we had booked for a 21st.

Originally was wanting to dine in at this restaurant but couldn't due to not making a booking. Instead we ordered the primavera and meatlovers pizzas for dinner on site and after a 20 minute wait, our order was ready for takeaway.

Pizzas were large sized and surprisingly had lots of toppings. Taste was fairly good for the price point. Wouldn't mind coming back next time to try other menu items.

Been coming here for years & before here, Cherrybrook. Very friendly & welcoming staff. Calamari & veal always tender. Portion size more than enough. Love it.

On the 22nd of November, I ordered some meals via Menulog. Time for delivery started out at 40 to 60 mins, but within half an hour, the app said meals weren't started, and time for delivery was now 2 1/2 hours. I cancelled the order and have been waiting for my refund. I finally contacted Menulog, who told me the restaurant was still paid despite not even starting to prepare the meals. Last time I order from this restaurant, take money but no meals 😡

Very dissatisfied with the service here, was told would be about a 40 minute wait for our take away order- waited over an hour for our order to be missing items. Disappointed as we used to love coming here.
