Dined here tonight after seeing it being recommended online and they did not disappoint.
We ordered the 3 course menu and every single dish was perfect.
The escargot and French onion soup were amazing entrees. The ribeye steak was tender and cooked nicely.
We ended the meal with a delicious crepe suzette special.
The restaurant has a nice cozy vibe and the service was great.
We will definitely return to try other dishes.

Warm & friendly greeting when we arrived. Service was attentive, efficient, thoughtful & friendly throughout our dinner.
Rib-eye steaks were cooked to our liking & well-seasoned. Steaks are served with a very small serve of creamy mash. We ordered green beans as an additional side .. these were garlicky & well-seasoned by the salty bacon/speck.
We indulged in mousse au chocolat & signature basque cheesecake for dessert.
Quaint french restaurant atmosphere.
Highly recommend if you enjoy a good steak.

Overpriced, Poor Service & Undercooked Food – Ruined Anniversary Dinner

My husband booked the Valentine’s Day 3-course meal with bread & canapĆ©s for $130 per person to celebrate our Anniversarry and it was a total disappointment.

First, despite having an 8:15 PM reservation, we were made to line up outside for 30 minutes before being seated.

The 3-course meal was extremely overpriced for what we received. If we had ordered the same dishes Ć  la carte, we would have saved at least $60, making the set menu a complete waste of money. The portions and quality did not justify the premium price.

• The breads? Four small pieces shared between two people—hardly generous.

• The canapĆ©? Just ONE heart-shaped piece of watermelon with cucumber on top. The menu stated ā€œbread & canapĆ©sā€ but this was misleading.

• The main course took over an hour to arrive after the entrĆ©e despite us pre-selecting our menu IN ADVANCE. Meanwhile, a couple who seated after us had already finished their meal.

When I asked the male waitstaff about our food, I was dismissed with a simple ā€œIt’s coming soon.ā€ Fifteen minutes later, still nothing. I had to follow up again with another staff member, yet no one gave an explanation for the delay.

To make things worse, my husband’s chicken was undercooked—completely unacceptable for a high-priced meal.

We didn’t finish dining until 11 PM and management did nothing to address the poor experience. Only when we went to pay did they finally say their system was having a problem—yet there was no reassurance, no explanation and no proper service recovery while we were dining.

They sent a message apologising but that doesn’t change the fact that our anniversary celebration was ruined.

For the price, I expected better service, properly cooked food and a well-managed dining experience. Instead, we left feeling frustrated, ripped off and ignored by the management.

Do not waste your money here—there are plenty of other restaurants that actually value their customers.

We had the pleasure of dining at this charming French restaurant for the first time, and what an exceptional experience it was! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a classic yet cozy French bistro vibe. The service, provided by William and Gilbert, was top-notch — attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with great care.

We opted for the 3-Course French Menu, which included an entrĆ©e, main course, side or dessert, along with a glass of house wine and a freshly baked French baguette. The staff recommended I try something a bit adventurous, and I’m so glad they did — the Escargot faƧon La Boucherie was a total revelation! I’ve never had escargot before, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. The rich garlic and herb butter really complemented the tender snails, and it was an absolute treat.

For the main, I had the Striploin, which was cooked to perfection — buttery, melt-in-your-mouth tender, with a beautiful char on the outside. It was absolutely delicious. The Ballotine de Poulet (stuffed chicken) was equally impressive — incredibly flavorful and beautifully presented.

The Roast Cauliflower and Garlic side was the perfect accompaniment — full of flavor, and just the right amount of seasoning. By the time I finished the main courses, I was so full that I had to take the dessert home, but I’m sure it would have been just as delightful!

Overall, this meal was a memorable one, and I can’t recommend it enough. The food was exquisite, the service was impeccable, and the whole experience was a true French culinary journey. I’ll definitely be back to try more dishes! Highly recommended!

My partner reserved a table in advance for the Valentine’s Day dinner at 8:15 pm. Same as previous comments, we were asked to order our food few days in advance. We waited outside the restaurant till 8:45 pm to be seated. Then, we waited till 9:20pm for our bread to come, finished the three courses at 10:45 pm at last. Services were inattentive, no one had ever come to our table to ask us for our thoughts on the food, refill our water glasses or even asked if we would like to order any extra sides.

Towards the end, we got charged $7/glass of water, which we only got served a glass of water each after sitting down at the table for 30 mins. We enquired the server about that and he did cancel the bottles of water on the bill rudely and impatiently. However, when we paid for our bill using American Express, he commented the surcharge of Amex would be more than the two bottles of water and then he just walked away.

We had been patiently waiting for our food, drinks, dessert for the whole night as we could see how busy they were on Valentines Day. However, the attitude was totally unacceptable, despite there were no explanations of why we waited for hours for our food to come, we also got NO apology for what had happened to us- the delayed of getting seated, the hours of wait for the food to come or even what the server had said (same as the comments before mine). The manager didn’t even bother to ask although she was there when things happened. I just had to storm out of the restaurant as no one seemed to care about the customers here.

If you want to be insult by the servers of how stingy you are about paying $14 for two glasses of water while paying for a $300+ dinner, including the attitude, feel free to come to this restaurant and experience the full experience. If not, prob better to save the money to go to Bennelong. Pretty sure they dun change $14 for two glasses of water and the bills won’t include the attitude. 😊

We had the pleasure of dining here for a pre valentines day dinner and were served by the lovely William. Tomahawk steak was a particular highlight closely followed by the bone marrow, escargot & calamari. GSM wine pairing was also an excellent recommendation!

We celebrated Mother’s Day at this charming French restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely amazing, with the escargot being a standout dish—truly to die for. The atmosphere was delightful, and the service was fantastic. Their excellent wine selection perfectly complemented the meal. This place made our celebration extra special, and we can’t wait to return, even if just for the escargot. Highly recommend!

Lovely French restaurant and glad we got to have dinner here and try the food. We ordered the charcuterie special and bone marrow topped with steak tartare for entree. They were both nice and tasty. For mains I ordered the bouillabaisse and hubby ordered the Coq au vin. My bouillabaisse was nice but I needed to added more seasoning and coq au vin was also nice and filling. The chicken had great flavor. The wine I paired with each meal was on point and complimented the meal. The basque baked cheesecake for dessert was a standout and I highly recommended trying it. The crème brûlée was nice but felt the sugar top was slightly burnt so gave a bitter taste on the tongue. All in all a nice meal, the waiter staff were friendly and knowledgeable and very attentive. a lovely French restaurant that I will want to visit again.
