We stopped by for lunch at this delightful cafe. The food was delicious and served quickly. The service from the staff was so warm, friendly and accommodating. The price was quite reasonable. Plenty of vegan and gluten free options to accommodate those with dietary restrictions. I would definitely recommend this place highly to anyone stopping by Macleay Island. Conveniently located in the town centre.

But the real magic happens every Tuesday night, when they fire up the smoker and serve some of the best American BBQ you’ll ever taste. Having smoked American BBQ for years and sampled some of Melbourne’s finest, I can confidently say this is next-level. The brisket? Phenomenal. The beef ribs? Absolutely unreal. Every bite reveals the dedication, craftsmanship, and depth of flavor honed through careful experimentation.

Behind this exceptional food experience is Steve, the passionate Hungarian chef and owner whose hospitality is just as remarkable as his culinary skills. His warm welcome and engaging personality will have you coming back again and again.

The photos I’ve attached barely do justice to the quality of the food. We were recommended by a friend, and now I’m passing that recommendation on—do yourself a favor and make the trip. You won’t regret it!

Food is outstanding and it is always a treat when Chef delivers it to your table. Smashed avocado and egg, bacon and eggs, salmon, eggs with a side of avocado, delicious veg and gluten free options….occasional wait for coffees but the new water views help while away the time 🥑 🍣 🥓 ☕️ 🫖 🏝️

One of the best cafes I've ever been to. Quite surprised just how good the food was. The eggs Benedict is the best I've ever had. This Cafe was the best part of visiting the island.

My partner calls me a food snob. I'm not easily impressed, but the food was so good I had to tell staff, had to inform the chef that was the best eggs Benny I've ever had. That chef is worth his weight in gold and this cafe will definitely be on my future vacation plans.

Had a very generous serve of beautifully cooked scrambled eggs and mushrooms this morning. The hummus garnish was a lovely touch. Coffee was fantastic! And all for a very reasonable price - Thank you.
