Unreal. Even had to thank staff and chef. I've eaten plenty of Thai all over the world. Who would have thought I found the best I've ever had at a pub in tumut. I will definitely travel from wodonga regularly to experience such awsome thai.

Conveniently located in commercial hotel, didn’t need a booking and plenty of tables early in the night. Pad see eew and chicken satay were delicious. Very big portions and good value for money.
Grilled beef was a bit overcooked and tough.

Very popular for takeaway as well.

Restaurant would not answer the phone to take my order - they picked up the phone, said nothing and put it on the bench. I tried a few times and each time the same thing then it started going to messenger.
I phoned the commercial hotel who were very lovely and apologetic and spoke to the restaurant but were told they won’t be taking orders for 30mins at least because they are too busy. The hotel staff sounded embarrassed by the response they had to pass on to me. How infuriating! I was trying to order for my husband who had driven from Sydney. Forget it! The Chinese restaurant in town looks to have better reviews anyway.

Decent Thai/Asian fusion from inside a Tumut pub.
Good spring rolls and chicken satay that reminded me of my childhood. Beef massaman curry was good, but the potatoes felt a little overdone. Salad side was basic and the dressing was from plastic packets.
Service was fast and friendly.

What a cracker of a Thai restaurant! Amazingly authentic flavours at incredibly fair prices, with wonderful, friendly service. This place (found inside the Commercial Hotel) is an absolute asset to Tumut. A must-visit when you're in town!

Food was great , but the service from the gentlemen was very disappointing and very rude. My wife ask for extra sauce and the gentleman which was servicing people put his nose up and said we don’t have enough water and walked off
