What an amazing venue with service provided by exceptional, engaging staff where nothing was too much. The dining experience was amazing. Every dish beautifully presented and full of flavour. The wine list is extensive and recommendations were well matched to our tastes. This is a boutique hotel only offering 14 rooms of accommodation so everything is very personalised.

What an absolutely amazing experience from beginning to the end. We were met by the very friendly Shannon & Morgan. What a delight, followed by a welcoming drink. We were personally taken to our accommodation.
Sarah, Morgan & Abby were absolutely awesome. Nothing was to hard. Their service was on par to silver service as was the food in the Orleana Restaurant.
Crystal and her housekeeping team. Your rooms a spot on. Beautifully presented.
Abbys Wine tasting experience was top notch. It's definitely worth doing.
Martin, what a fantastic manager you are. You made our stay so comfortable.All the staff and the amenities are fantastic.

I’ve had the best experience from the moment I arrived. I came to Kingsford for the Harmony and Essence retreat, which was just incredible. Food, staff, accomodation, activities, retreat. Just faultless! I’ve never felt so relaxed. I’ll definitely be back and recommend the Kingsford Barossa to anyone who wants a very special treat.

The Kingsford Barossa. The absolute jewel in the crown of South Australian accomodation, has been painstakingly and lovingly restored to create a beautiful accomodation location.

The former set of Australian TV Show, McLeod's Daughters, is on the north western plains of the Barossa Valley, lending itself to some spectacular views of the Valley, and North Para River.

You immediately feel welcomed, both from the amazing staff, but also the place itself, as it preserves a wonderful feeling of space, comfort and perfect touch of modern. This while preserving the heritage and feel of the original Kingsford building, circa 1860s.

We were welcomed in the driveway, where our luggage was taken to our room, the car was parked for us, and Abby took us inside for a welcome glass of sparkling; the perfect arrival.

After a quick tour, we were taken to our room, where we had a preordered bottle of Louis Roederer already chilling.

The Kingsford has 3 amazing bars, a main bar in the guest lounge with a stunning fireplace, a fantastic pool bar again with a huge outdoor fireplace, and also a bar downstairs next to their own Kegelbahn (German Bowling) alley. An amazing feature.

Breakfast and Dinner is hosted in the Orleana Restaurant, and both meals were stunning. The wine list is expansive, due to the huge underground vault where 6 individual wine cellars are located. The Vault also holds South Australia's longest continous dining table, hosting 70 guests. Amazing.

The Valley View Suite was spectacular. 3+ metre high ceilings, sunken lounge, heated bathroom floor, and huge retractable TV, it also looks due east, a spectacular morning view. We enjoyed overlooking the valley in the afternoon, with sun behing, creating beuatiful light, and a great time for the resident kangaroos to come out and join us!

Aside from the gorgeous property and the wonderful food, the service was truly special. We are counting down the days before we enjoy another personalised wine tasting with the fabulous Abby once again!

An unforgettable weekend, and we cannot wait to go back!

Amazing, with a capital A!
Following the review of Kim: we had a very lovely stay. It felt like home, even though we are not used to so much luxury! Especially thanks to Shannon (and the rest of the team) to make this experience definitely one to remember! The very wonderful views, the very friendly staff, the overall luxury and romantic spots, it makes the stay worthwile, for sure.
Definitely want to come back one day 🙂

It’s a shame to see they gutted the place and made it hyper modernized. Only the outer facade is mostly preserved. And everything surrounding the old building is corporate looking and just soulless. It would have been on my wishlist had it maintained some of the old charm of a farm home.
