A place worth visiting. The staff and tour guides were friendly and professional.
The tours run at specific hours so if you arrive early you need to wait until the next tour. I would recommend booking in advance. We wanted to visit the Mole creek cave as well but the tours were fully booked for the day.

Absolutely fantastic cave tour and stunning caves. Great to see the dedication to preserving the caves and education about them. It would be amazing to see more education about the Australian Aboriginal history included in the tour education and the Aboriginal name of the land it is situated on to pay respects to our First Nations people. Really loved the passion of our guide he was excellent. This tour is suitable for low-high exercise levels and not too strenuous. There are some tight squeezes in regard to the width of the pathways so some dexterity and able to bend and manouvre is required. I would say some people with disabilities could certainly do the cave walk depending on their physical ability etc. It is not accessible for walking aides and wheelchairs however. Great tour, stunning. Thanks for a great experience in August 2024!

There are three caves at Mole Creek open to view.
The first one was Marakoopa Cave. This had some great stalactites and stalagmites. It also had resident glow worms.
The best of the three was King Solomon's Cave. Absolutely packed with all sorts of formations. This Cave is an 11 min drive from the other 2.
The third Cave started at the same spot as Cave one but veered off to the Cathedral. So you got to see the glow worms a second time.

I did all 3 caves..

A truly amazing experience. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and funny! Make sure you grab your tickets before you come, or at the other cave as you can't buy tickets here and slots book up.

An incredible experience! Gail our tour guide was very patient with our 4 year old kids, and very knowledgeable.
Check times for tours as they are set times during the day.
Was about 45 mins of tour, walking in and back.
Toilet facilities were clean, there's picnic tables by the carpark. And we enjoyed the scenic bush walk back to the carpark too. Awesome all round!

Both cave systems were great in their own way. Our only bug bair is the Web site does not show the difference in tours.
The marakoopa caves has a few tour options but it's not easy to work out.
The king Solomon's cave also has different options but we only found out on the tour.
The pricing is also confusing. It is $19 each cave for the guided walking tour. You also need to be able to walk like a duck to get under some cave obstacles so it is not disability friendly
